Flowers Delivered to the Office

Do Bouquet Deliveries at the Office Make You Blush?

Everyone loves a gorgeous vase of flowers, but when it comes to public bouquet deliveries feelings are mixed. An overflowing arrangement could prompt nosy co-workers to ask details about your personal life you aren't ready to answer, or it could offer a pretty pick-me-up and conversation starter (whether personal or not). Are you comfortable receiving flowers at the office?

I would absolutely love it! Except I doubt my boyfriend would ever send me flowers to the office. Staff usually receive flowers as thanks from clients in my office so it's a usual thing.

For a birthday one year I got a HUGE beautiful bouquet from my BF and a little cute one from my best friend on the same day :) They both got me gerbera daisies and I needed a bigger desk temporarily to hold them! Today is actually my birthday so I wish I got some today!

I would probably like it. Thing is, the only person that would send me flowers is my soon-to-be husband... with whom I carpool and I can see from my seat in the office right now. I think if he sent me flowers in the office, it would be not only kind of silly, but would most likely also be seen as a bit unprofessional. Our relationship in the office is fine, but in the office we keep our cutesy-couply things outside of the work place.

I hate it! >_< I hate the extra attention from coworkers, I'm a private person so I don't want my relationships on display. If I got flowers, I'd take the card and move the flowers immediately to the break room to deflect all the questions.

i would/do love it yes i may blush a little but i would like it more than i'd be embarassed! (it's only happened to me once recently and once when i was in highschool) the problem is, in my building, we have tight security so any delivery we have to go downstairs (18 flights) and pick it up...and the one time it happened (on my anniversary last year), the flower shop called me first to ask me if i was going to be at work...so it really ruined the element of surprise! but i still loved it!
