More than half of you aren't fans of work romance, and it makes me wonder how many of you are speaking from experience. Have you ever dated a co-worker?

However, now that I’m thinking about it, when I was a teenager my now husband volunteered to work at a Pizza place instead of me when I had to leave for a month. It was kind of awkward, though, because they promoted him while I was gone so he was my manager. It obviously worked out just fine because a few years down the road we got married :)

My ex and I worked together. That was a disaster.

Nope. Never wanted to, either. The idea of seeing one's beau that often just feels hinky. I also wouldn't do it for financial reasons, as well as work status reasons. Just not worth the trouble, if you ask me.

I met my boyfriend at work. I didn't want to date someone at work, but he passed me in the hall and fireworks went off, so I had to date him. I used all of my resources to figure out who he was (we work with 1500 people). Once I did, I embarrassed myself, got a date, and now, for the first time ever, I'm living with my boyfriend.

I met my fiance at work four years ago and we still work together. We are both teachers so we really don't cross paths at work too often. It is nice to always have a car pool buddy.

Yes, we met in the bagel line during a company function. It was love at first sight (really). After 10 yrs we both work at different companies with different schedules but one day we'll get together in the same household. He's only 45 min away so not too tragic. Glad to see there are success stories but often it does not work out.

I have- my boyfriend of three years works at the same company where I worked and that's how we met. There was lots of gossip about us when we got together as it's a tiny company, but I found the whole thing amusing. If it hadn't been for after work drinks (and us staying until we got chucked out at closing time) we never would have got together!

Yep! I met my love working rockshows when I was in college. He was (still is) the sound engineer and I ran the spotlight. I moved on to another job, but we're still going strong after almost 3 years <3

I met my current boyfriend at work. We've been together 5 years and just bought a house together. We have totally different jobs but it's always funny to think back to us working together. Awww those were the days

Nope but I've gone to the movies and dinner with male co-workers nothing romantic just hanging out . . . don't think that counts.

Yes...and after 6 years we are now getting married this spring. :)

No. I work in an office that is primarily female and married men. Which is fine with me because I'm not really into office dating. My luck, it'd blow up in my face.

I dated a guy I worked with in college... but it didn't last long. It wasn't awkward though, and we remain good friends. I manage a restaurant now, and my husband comes and works for me sometimes when we need extra help, but I don't think that counts ;)

Nope - I don't like the idea of it, as I like to keep my work life as separate as possible from my personal life. But then, I've never been interested in a coworker; if that happened I might see things differently...

Luke's Daddy and I are coworkers. We worked in totally different departments and didn't meet until we had both been there for a while - I actually changed departments before I met him. Our bosses thought it was cute, no problems at all.
