This Genius DIY Tool Will Forever Change the Way You Carve Pumpkins

Genius Katie Campshure just saved us a ton of money on pumpkin carving kits with her awesome DIY carving tool. Not only is Katie's creation cheaper and safer to use, but it's also impressively durable. And it's ridiculously easy to make yourself. All you need is a pencil, a bobby pin, tape, and a pencil grip (optional).

First, stretch the hair pin over the eraser end of the pencil, leaving a little space at the top for carving. Wrap tape around until the pin is secured to the sides of the pencil and you're all set!
