How Much Does the President of the United States Make?

During the second presidential debate, we heard President Obama take a jab at Mitt Romney's wealth, joking, "I don't look at my pension. It's not as big as yours, so it doesn't take as long." There should be a limit to how much a candidate can spend on a campaign.  I don't think a president should get a salary.  Why?  Because everything is provided for him already.  Food, place to live, travel, security, assistants, etc... Pretty sure designers send them clothes all the time.  Swag...I want to see a list of presidential swag.  Those little feebies are a constant...and yes I know they aren't supposed to keep gifts...but seriously...they get to use them!   Retirement---they get to keep whatever campaign contributions they don't spend so....that's a retirement. If there was a cap on how much of those donations they could spend then the rest would automatically be a retirement.  If I as a taxpayer lose sleep over my lack of retirement and pending loss of what SSI I should get at retirement...so should he.
