My workplace has Outlook, so it's always up, I never check it unless a new message alert pops up on it, since pretty much everyone communicates to me via email the majority of time.

I never use to for the past 2 years, but lately I have been checking my email a few times a day. It helps sitting next to IT.

Just once or twice, if a friend needs to contact me they usually ping me on MSN or Skype. These days my personal email box might as well be renamed spam-trap. :P

I only check it once a day when I'm on break. But I leave my Outlook email for work stuff open all the time in case I get anything important.

I'm signed in all day, but I keep it in an IE tab so I check it only when I see there's an email. And when I have time to check my emails, too - when I have work to do I don't even think about it.

Once or twice, only. :P Most people just use my work email these days since it's easier to get ahold of me.

At my current job, never. I don't have internet access, it's a restaurant. At my old job, I was signed in almost all the time.

Once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Maybe a third time after work. I try to restrict my e-mail-checking to try and actually get some work done. My job is very goal and numbers oriented so I always got to sacrifice some Internet usage.
