I'm Asking: What's the Most Predictable Interview Question?

There's a reason your palms get a little sweaty and your heart beats faster when you enter a job interview — it's one occasion when you're fully aware that you're about to be put on the spot. While it's impossible to know exactly what the interviewer will ask, there always seems to be slight variations on a few particular questions. For example, I can't think of an interview when I haven't been asked to tell the interviewer about myself. Based on your experiences, what's the most predictable interview question?

"Where do you see yourself in five years?" This may not be the single most predictable question, but I've been asked it a lot in recent interviews.

I don't like interviews, either as the interviewer or interviewee. Predictable questions are "why do you want this job?" and "how do you handle a stressful/tough situation?"

"What do you consider your biggest strengths?" and "Name a situation in which you had to make an important decision and how you handled it". I hate interviews, too.

"Why do you want that job?" and "Give me an example of how you handled a stressful situation". Ugh I hate job interviews.

In my field, I always get these two: Give an example of how you handled a situation under pressure and how would you deal with a difficult customer.
