Kelly-O 6 years I'm actually looking into starting a Virtual/Personal Assistant business now, but would really love to get into organization development consulting. Basically helping companies identify areas that need improvement and coming up with an objective, mutually beneficial way to improve production, morale, turnover rates, etc. Isista 6 years Hm...I would want either a bakery or a newspaper/magazine. I would like to co-run a bakery with a friend of mine and since I want to go into journalism, it would be nice to one day be able to publish my own newspaper. KWM 6 years In my next life I am going to start my own travel consulting business! indielove 6 years Restaurant, Jude? I wonder why. ;) Mine would be a quaint cafe that sells coffee, sandwiches, and pastries. Fill it with some really comfy, kickback chairs that the customers would feel relaxed when they stop by. Sell some local art and music, coffee mugs, beans and tea leaves(fair-trade). I'm thinking about doing this for real in the future. Probably not by myself though, I'd have a partner in it, or two. My mum always wanted to have her own bakery, maybe we could work something out there. Also, a chic little vintage and knickknacks shop. I love the idea of starting a program that teaches children how to read. This is really important to me, I want children(mostly the less fortunate) to experience the joys of reading and using their imagination. Also, discover their artistic abilities: drawing, graphic design, painting, sculpture, music. This wouldn't be a business, more like an independent organization, not one that parents would have to pay for though. It would be more like a non-profit(I hate that word). I have tons of others ideas...:) lickety-split 6 years i have wanted a 'mrs. field's cookie" franchise for years. dh doesn't agree, so i doubt it will happen. i just think it seems like a happy, fun business. everyone loves cookies, right? It would offer my graphic design services, yet also sell my jewelry/journals and fun gifts. I'd just love to have that store you go to knowing you could get something unique. Also, I have a passion for interior design and I'd love being able to switch up, repaint and redecorate my own store whenever I wanted. MsWalton 6 years If I owned a business it would probably be a copywriter business where I edit papers for students for a fee depending on the number of pages. But that wouldn't be a real business, so I guess I would open a business where I help truckers complete their tax reports. That's basically what I do now, except I would be working for myself. BabyBearCutie 6 years I am researching and looking into running my own personal assistant and concierge service that is or can be affordable to anyone. katysoup 6 years It's my dream to own a book shop in my home town. A friend and I actually started making plans to open a book store/coffee shop, but then my fiance (now husband) joined the Marine Corps. So, as long as we're at the mercy of the Corps, my dream will be on hold. Deba22 6 years Um, exercise studio please!! ilanac13 6 years right now i work in advertising in media - and sometimes i think that it would be really nice to have my own agency - that does media only. i used to think that i would love to do event planning and things like that - but media really is where my passion lies. cubadog 6 years In the past I wanted it upscale doggie boutique but now they are a dime a dozen in Portland.
