Some couples prefer throwing separate bachelor and bachelorette parties, but there are those who prefer joint bachelor and bachelorette parties, also known as Jack and Jill parties. It seems like a great way to celebrate your impending nuptials together if you and your loved one have the same group of friends and if you don't want to exclude friends who aren't of the same gender.
Traditionally, these parties, especially the bachelor's, celebrate the last night of freedom before marriage. But for many, the parties have evolved beyond that and are simply a night or weekend of enjoying a bit of lighthearted fun with your closest friends. It all comes down to preference, but I'm wondering, what are your thoughts on celebrating the end of your bachelor and bachelorette status together?
