Know Where To Find the Sale Rack

Know Where to Find the Sale Rack

While boutiques don't require a compass, a little direction could help you shop smarter. No doubt you know just where to look for the sale rack in stores that you frequent, but you'll handle a lot of full-priced items before finding the real sales in an unfamiliar store. In its May issue, Real Simple says you can count on most stores setting up their sale racks in the back left corner. There's no need to only shop the sale rack, but it's always a good place to start.

I have completely given up on sale racks. It is just not worth the time for me because my size is never ever ever on sale. I know a lot of people are trying to lose weight on this site so here's a heads up, when you do reach your goals, be expected to dish out a lot more $$ on clothes.

Yeah, or they'll have certain sale items throughout the store so that you're walking through looking at the sale stuff and then not being able to tell what's on sale... BR does that and it drives me crazy! At least they have a big sale section in back!

that's common place for where to find the sale stuff. the goal of course is to get you to look at regular priced stuff and get all excited about it and forgo the sale rack.

I tend to gravitate toward the sale rack at every store I go to. I generally start there and if I can't find what I want, I either pick a new store or I'll look in the regular section.
