This Backpacking Artist Masterfully Draws Each European City He Passes Through

Scrolling through Maxwell Tilse's Instagram is like taking a tour of a quaint and historic town that's been processed through the most whimsical of Snapchat filters. Yep, it's kind of trippy.

Currently residing in London, the 23-year-old Australian illustrator frequently shares the many charming comic-inspired drawings he creates while traveling throughout Europe. In a Bored Panda post, Maxwell explained his relaxed process. "On my current trip I've mostly done quick pencil sketches outside," he said, adding, "Then, I'll find a warm cozy place to finish the drawing with a hot meal and a cold beer." Now that sounds as hygge as it gets.
