I'm currently looking for a job after taking some time off after having my daughter. It's a scary time to be looking for a job, but I feel fortunate. I've already had three interviews, all of which went well. Unfortunately, all three have passed on me — one via a phone message and the other two via email. I want to reply back to the emails thanking the hiring managers for talking to me and telling them both I'd like to be considered for future positions, but my husband (who worked in HR many years ago) says that looks desperate. What do you think, Savvy? Should I be thanking people who don't hire me, or just let it go?
