I actually did not ask any questions. I knew the dimensions already from the j.crew site. In hindsight, I would have made sure it was coming from a smoke-free home - but luckily it did! OnceWed is another great site for used wedding dresses. I figured if this dress didn't work out, I could resell it on a site like that.

@Vanonymous Wow, it's great that it worked out for you! I've found pretty great deals on eBay as well. Did you ask the seller some questions about the dress?

I did something similar to Anon. I found the dress I wanted at JCrew (wedding line) and searched for it on Ebay in my size. I found it new with tags and paid $250 instead of $400. It's kind of a risk (b/c you can't return) but it worked out for me!
