When you finally get "the call" for an interview, after sending out a few dozen (or hundred) resumes, and writing countless cover letters, the decision over what to wear when you get your fifteen or twenty minutes with the hiring manager can seem daunting. After all, how often do we make assumptions about others based on whether they are wearing something that we deem trashy? Inappropriate? Elegant?

While we may reverse those opinions at a later date, an interview is like speed dating, which means that you have to go in armed in an appropriate outfit, because you will not have time to correct any errors.
