Having just survived planning my own wedding and having worked previously as a dress specialist at Macy's, I'd go with being a dress consultant. While the work I did wasn't with wedding dresses, I know how snippy a girl can get when she needs something - PRONTO. When it comes to dealing with a bride, I'd just rather be responsible for one aspect as opposed to 100. There's always something with the wedding that could have been done better, done cheaper, done differently and you're not just relying on yourself, your staff and your seamstresses - you're relying on other people from other companies (florists, bakers, suppliers) to get the work done. If one of those fall through, your client's whole wedding can fall through. Not to say being a dress consultant doesn't have it's stresses up until the last minute, but at least you don't have to work through the day of the wedding, overseeing the whole thing and everyone else involved!

I've always thought it would be so cool to be an event planner, but there's an awful lot to keep track of.

I do think Wedding Planner would be cooler but I would prefer Dress Consultant cause it's less pressure. I don't have to be there on the wedding day when everyone is going crazy.

I would rather create one masterpiece (the dress) than one thousand perfect little details.
