Work-Life Balance

Are You a Workaholic?

It's definitely essential to have a healthy work-life balance. I've given you plenty of tips in the past, but I want to know if you're taking heed. I know how tempting it is to think, "Oh, just 30 more minutes of work, and then I'm done." But that half an hour can turn into an hour and before you know it, a few hours have flown by and you're feeling mentally exhausted. Tell me, are you working yourself to the bone?

If I'm not busy, I get bored quickly. If work slows down, then I'm in the gym or running outside. I just like the thrill of accomplishing stuff. I also like the paycheck that comes with it.

I have a full time paid job (50 hours a week), I volunteer 20 hours a week, I run the nursery at my church on Sundays...I'm definitely a workaholic. I've been told that I need to slow down and not work as much, but I love it and I am never bored!

Been there, done that. Now I have a much better work-life balance. I really worked my ass off in my 20s but now that I'm comfortable financially I've shifted gears big time.

I work six hours a week and I volunteer two hours. Definitely not a workaholic here!

I have two jobs (a weekend one, even though it isn't really "needed", i like to have extra money and something to do) It'll be 45 days of working straight before my next 2 days off. I love it though, I'm just thinking of all the extra money in my savings and the extras I'll have for my 6 day vacation in December.
