If you're out of work and living in certain cities, there's a little jobless perk for you — free or greatly discounted yoga sessions. Yoga is known to reduce stress and fatigue, so it's quite a fitting activity for the unemployed, but it's not going to get you a job. Career consultant Wendy Enelow tells Huffpo, "Yoga's not getting anybody a job. What the yoga studios do – and I think kudos to them – is if you physically feel better, your head's going to feel better and you're in a better place to manage your job search."
This yoga freebie phenomenon is seen in cities like New York, Columbus, Chicago, Berkeley, and more. Although some may scoff at the idea, I think it's a nice bit of luxury for the jobless who can't afford any. What are your views on this — brilliant or baffling?
