My husband works near it, but I handle the finances, so sometimes there is tension if he misplaces a deposit or withdrawal slip. wackdoodle 6 years I use a bank - an internet based bank (ING) as my main account now. Charges zero fees and the savings account pays great interest regardless of balance. I've never found a credit union that has branches all over west coast that enables me to find a branch where I am. myystque 6 years I have an account with a credit union because they don't charge a lot of fees and I have an account with an online bank that gives me a good interest rate on my savings. Since rates and both places are variable, I can move my money to whichever will give me the best return.
