We bought land this year, so that'll be sort of a pain because we're on a land-contract with my father-in-law. We have all our documents that we need, so I'm hoping it'll be smooth. My dad is already getting geared up...back when I lived at home and had a part-time job, every January he'd say, "Alright, Brit, it's TAX TIME! Get your W-2s and your forms and let's get going!" And we'd do our taxes together so we could get our refunds ASAP. For the longest time, I thought you HAD to file as soon as you got your W-2...I never understood that you had until April 21 to file.
