Leo's Friends Come out at the 11th Hour

Leonardo DiCaprio's posse reunited to support him at the premiere of the 11th Hour in LA. Lukas and Tobey looked all grown up in their white shirts and suit coats while Adrian Grenier went all dark and sexy. Kate Bosworth looked amazingly happy and healthy. The main man of the hour was proud to show off his hard work on a project he's so passionate about. Leo narrates the documentary that features the leading scientists and political figures of today. Here's more:

"It's not just global warming, it's not just a loss of biodiversity, it's not just the pollution of our oceans and the clearing of our rainforests and all these complicated systems," Leo tells ET. "[The movie] talks about the world economy, it talks about politics, it talks about personal transformation and environmental consciousness that we need to have in this generation to implement a lot of these changes that need to occur."

Hot Leo Hits Cannes

Leo looked smokin' HOT at Cannes this weekend! Saturday he checked out the premiere of No Country for Old Men, then hit the red carpet for his latest project 11th Hour. Leo not only co-produced and co-wrote 11th Hour, but also narrated the environmental film. The film takes a look at how humans have damaged the earth and what we can do to fix it. Of the film's topic he said, "It's such an amazingly large issue, and you suddenly you feel like, what can I do? What can I do? It's too big for me to deal with. I think that movie, through the cinematic format, was able to convey science to the public and to the media in a way that it had never done before."

Leo Continues to Tree Hug the World

Environmentally friendly Leo is certainly committed to making the world a better place. He started an eponymous Foundation to raise environmental awareness and he's financially supporting a child in Africa. He chooses to work on films that educate and inform such as Blood Diamond and the upcoming Conspiracy of Fools, about political corruption. As if that weren't enough, he's produced and narrated a documentary out this year called 11th Hour which also deals with environmental issues. All this and he's about to get into a Prius. Maybe next time he will remember to wear a coat in cold NYC since he has to probably pump up the heat in the car.

Leo Keeps The Party Going Way After The 11th Hour

After the premiere of the 11th hour Leo and his friends moved on to the after-party. Leo looked fabulously polished last night, but he claims that he doesn't waste too much time getting ready for red carpet events. He said, "How long does it take me? Usually 15 minutes, something like that,... And then it's about putting the suit on. I don't have a stylist -- usually it's my assistant who tells me to put this on and I go, 'Okay.'" He also said he won't leave home without his cell phone. Leo is always thinking about new ways to save the planet, so we're not surprised he saves water and energy by making a quick exit from his house every day.

Leonardo DiCaprio Has a Rewarding Party For Peace

Leonardo DiCaprio stopped by a dinner party in Berlin last night before attending to the Cinema for Peace charity gala today, where he received an award for his work on The 11th Hour. The actor has always been environmentally conscious, although he's also got other things on his mind. He supposedly was rooting for Bar Refaeli to be on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in order to upset his ex Gisele Bundchen and rumor has it he got his way. The cover will be officially revealed on Letterman tonight, but something tells us both supermodels and Leo are over any petty rivalry.

Leo DiCaprio Wants to Give You a Green Card

Leonardo DiCaprio brought his mission to Hong Kong yesterday to introduce the HSBC green credit card and his documentary The 11th Hour. The card is made of environmentally friendly materials, uses only digital bills to cut down on paper waste, and donates to a green charity for every transaction. Of course, saving the world is a huge part of Leo's life these days, which he happily admitted when talking about his two great passions in life: "acting and being an environmental activist." He also went on to say what it was like meeting with the "great environmental minds of our time" and the responsibility our generation has to help the earth - check out the video after the jump. While it may seem like it's all about beach vacations with his hot model girlfriend for Leo, he's also got a big old heart and his head in the right place.

Leo To Help Bring Peace, Environmental Harmony

Leo's visit to his girlfriend Bar's home in Israel certainly got off to a tumultuous start, but after the initial kerfuffle, the frenzy calmed down. The vacation didn't get less exciting though! This weekend, Leo and Bar were invited to sit down with Israeli Vice Premier and former Prime Minister Shimon Peres to discuss the political situation in the area as well as Leo's recent environmental activism. Here's more:

"The meeting was pleasant and interesting," says [Peres' aide]. "Shimon told Leo about his Peace Valley project [a joint Israeli-Jordanian-Palestinian economic development plan] and Leo spoke about [11th Hour,] his documentary on the environment."

The aide says Peres asked DiCaprio to help promote the stalled Middle East peace process and to further campaign for protecting the environment globally. According to the source, DiCaprio promised to help on both issues.

With Leo's commitment and passion, hopefully he will be able to be of help on both these crucial issues. Unfortunately, soon after the meeting, Leo learned that his aunt had passed away and had to cut his vacation short in order to be in Germany for the funeral. Our thoughts are with Leo and his family during this sad time.
