Zac Efron Might Be 17 Forever

After greeting tons of fans at the airport, Zac Efron changed into another plaid shirt for a press conference in Tokyo yesterday. He hasn't run out of steam to pose for photos and chat about 17 Again all over the world, which looks especially tiring when you're rolling solo. He's yet to commit to his next project, but a few months off might be just what Zac needs before showing the world what he can do as a serious adult actor.

Zac Efron continued his run as man of the hour at last night's LA premiere of 17 Again. This time he had some of his friends out to share his moment, including girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, the Jonas Brothers, costars Leslie Mann, Michelle Trachtenberg and more. Matthew Perry looked fairly youthful himself beside his younger self Efron - see the resemblance? It's been quite the Zac-attack around here these days, but it sounds like you are on board as his acting grows up and enjoyed his SNL gig as he navigates the best way to become a man in Hollywood.

Zac Efron Keeps Wheeling and Dealing

Now that he's conquered Sydney and Paris, Zac Efron moved to London yesterday to keep right on promoting 17 Again with another premiere. He has his hands full between the red carpets, interviews, and autographs, but Zac's still finding time to make moves behind the scenes. After dropping out of Footloose earlier in the week, Zac's now in talks to star in a drama, The Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud. There hasn't been a dull moment lately for the rising star, and it seems like his hot streak is going to continue straight through the Summer.

Zac Efron Brings His 17 Encore to Paris

Zac Efron kept it casual and looked a little lonely on the red carpet at the 17 Again photo call and premiere in Paris today. He was happy to greet some fans and sign autographs before heading inside. You were mostly split about whether it's good or bad news that he dropped out of the Footloose remake to focus on more mature projects. His audience might be ready to grow up out of High School Musical with him, though it will probably be a while before he stops being greeted wherever he goes by wild screaming girls.

Taylor and Zac Go Back to Being Seventeen

Zac Efron trekked all the way to Australia for the premiere of 17 Again in Sydney earlier today. He didn't have his costars or Vanessa Hudgens by his side, but Taylor Swift kept him company on the red carpet. Taylor is in town for a concert tomorrow night, but she seemed more than happy to add some star power to Zac's premiere before he takes his movie back home for the April 17 release date.

Matt Ready for a Comeback With Young Zac

Matthew Perry and Zac Efron got to work on the set of their new movie Seventeen in LA on Friday. These two don't really look all that much alike in everyday life, but we can kind of see the connection when looking at their side-by-side jackets and shades. We have to say that while Zac isn't winning many votes as your favorite rising star or best up-and-comer of 2007, we're interested to see how he does in a non-singing role. As for Matthew, we totally support any chance to see an old Friend back on the big screen.

The same-named duo were spotted out earlier this week and yet again last night shopping and grabbing dinner in LA. 17-year-old Lautner has snagged himself an older woman with 19-year-old Swift and the two seem inseparable at least for the moment. They met filming Valentine's Day where they share an on-screen kiss. John Mayer was out again for dinner last night at what seems to be his favorite LA restaurant, Katsuya. He was taking a break from all the time he's been spending in the studio working on his upcoming album, Battle Studies. We'll finally get to hear the fruits of his labor when the record comes out - John tweeted yesterday that it'd be available on Nov. 17.
