We saw them strut their stuff on the red carpet, but here are some shots of our favorite young Hollywood stars inside the main event and backstage having some fun. Seriously though, could Shia be more places these days? When does that boy have time to sleep. Meanwhile, Hilary looked cute, as usual, as she presented an award. We recently learned that Hil's a total gadget junkie (just like us!), but something tells me she'll be getting her hands on that iPhone (even if she thinks the first ones will be a bit buggy) before the rest of us. Lucky, lucky.

Hollywood's Young'ns Come Out To Play

Last night, some of our favorite rising stars were honored at the Young Hollywood Awards. Dakota Fanning, Amanda Bynes and Hilary Duff were just a few of the lovely young ladies who got all dolled up for the red carpet. The celebs were excited to win their awards, but made it clear that they're only planning on going on to bigger and better things as they grow older. Here's more:

"I'm up for whatever other challenges come my way in the future - in fact, I look forward to it," said actor/rapper Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, 29, at the El Rey Theater.

Actress Dakota Fanning, 13, lauded as Hottest Coolest Young Veteran, said, "I get the 'young' part, but I don't feel like a veteran yet. I'm just excited to go to work tomorrow."

Singer/actress Hilary Duff, 19, a presenter, said, "I've been working so hard promoting my record (Dignity), I'm just so excited that it's out there. I had a few days off for Easter, now I'm ready to go on tour."

It's been a while since we've seen Amanda and while she's looking cute, we think she dressed a little too young for the now 21 year old. Katherine Heigl's dress is too bright but it's the other Katharine who looks way too done up. Kristin Cavallari is perfectly dressed.... for Vegas. How does she land herself such cute men? Stephen, Brody and now Nick. It's clearly her best accomplishment.

The Stars Get Hot in Hollywood

Jennifer showed young Hollywood how it was done at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood 2007 bash last night. While the rest of the starlets donned dresses J Lo made a splash in a white Ralph Lauren suit. It's no surprise then that she was honored as US Weekly's Style Icon of the Year, an honor she was also awarded by Harper's Bazaar this year. While we don't always agree with her choices, she's definitely not afraid to take risks. Marc Anthony jokingly said, however, that she mostly has him to thank for her fashion decisions. Here are highlights:

"I pick out all her dresses, for the most part...I'm the Simon Cowell of my household - really honest."

But Anthony credits his wife for sparking his keen fashion sense, saying, "She developed my eye for it. I didn't realize I was so good at it, but she could have 20 designers and five girlfriends in a room, and she'll still say, 'Let's ask Marc.'"

Marc has another important duty as well. "I'm her purse...At these things, that's my purpose and you've got to know what your purpose is." Concealed inside Anthony's black suit, he said, were Lopez's eye shadow, lipstick and various other beauty items.

"Sometimes my purse doesn't fit stuff and he has to carry things," acknowledged Lopez.

While Jennifer was definitely a focal point of the night, she shared the spotlight with tons of other stars like LL who came in some enormous curls and picked up an award for Red Carpet Style. What do you think of the ladies red carpet style? Brody Jenner also was on hand and was supposed to be bringing the winner of US Weekly's Win a Date with Brody Jenner contest. But where is she? Let's hope he didn't ditch her at the party!
