One More Set of Grammy Parties - Woo Hoo!

More, more, more Grammys fun! The after parties rolled on last night, and I can't say I blame everyone for wanting to let loose after that marathon show. Rihanna and her friend? boyfriend? Chris Brown got cozy at the LA Reid /EW party, though things got a little bumpy for Rih-Rih when another car hit her limo when she was trying to leave. Thankfully no one was injured. Kid Rock, Rande Gerber, and Cindy Crawford posed at the Warner Music Group bash, while Fergie rocked another mysteriously flowy dress with Josh and Nelly at Universal Music Group's event. Lindsay Lohan skipped (not invited to?) the actual award show but made sure to hit up the other events of the evening. Looks like she's back on the scene with a vengeance. Musicians Make Merry After the Grammys

It may have been a looong Grammy Awards, but it was only more reason to keep the party going after the show ended. The stars got to mix and mingle with their fellow musicians at the Sony BMG Party, making for some predictable (and a few unlikely) pairings. Nicole and Joel were looking a little worn out, while Beyonce was practically glowing in yellow next to John Mayer, making her fourth outfit change of the night. Which B outfit was your favorite? Also, is it just us, or did John look a little too pretty-boy last night? Carrie Underwood naturally gravitated toward country star Brad Paisley, while Jay-Z looked absolutely thrilled to be posing with Chris Daughtry. We just wish we could eavesdrop on a few of their conversations, although something tell us that Amy Winehouse's performance was a hot topic across the board.

Sugar Bits - Writers Vote on Contract, Some Return to Work

As the Writers Guild votes on the new agreement reached with Hollywood producers, some of the striking writers with producing responsibilities are back at work today, while (pending approval of the contract) everyone else should resume work Wednesday. Clive Gets the Grammy Party Started . . . With Whitney

Clive Davis helped kick off the Grammys with his annual pre-show party on Saturday at the Beverly Hilton in LA. The appearance of the night was, of course, Whitney Houston who looked fabulous on the red carpet and with her wardrobe change inside. The icon was joined at the party by Lindsay Lohan in seafoam green and Rihanna in a very full-coverage number. Nicole and Joel were pulling double duty coming from the LACMA party to pose with the likes of Fergie and Pete/Ashlee. Miss Carrie Underwood was there with her boyfriend Chace Crawford, but he managed to avoid the cameras. Boo that. Inside, the party-goers were treated to performances from all-star acts like Alicia Keys, the Foo Fighters, Daughtry, and Leona Lewis. At one point Akon and Will.i.am took the stage for singing and backflips. I'm sure they were all home nice and early to get a good night's sleep before last night's Grammys. Suuuure.

Winners Cozy Up With New Grammys in the Press Room

With the night's biggest winner Amy Winehouse stuck in London, the press room was a little quiet at last night's Grammy Awards. "Low" (low, low, low) rapper T-Pain, for one, kept it all understated with his hat and cane choices. Kanye skipped out on posing with his awards after getting a little annoyed at the show's sound people, but there were some of the evening's shining stars ready to show off their new mantel bling. Rihanna, who is obviously a little protective of her prize, wouldn't even let her co-winner Jay-Z near the thing. Carrie's an old hand at the Grammy thing, while Kid Rock didn't have any awards to pose with but cozied up with his singing partner for the evening, Keely Smith. Amy Winehouse's Grammy Performance - Love It or Leave It?

While Amy Winehouse couldn't quite make it to last night's Grammy Awards in LA, she still performed during the show via telecast from London. It was her first big outing since saying yes, yes, yes to rehab and the night's big winner looked a lot better than she has recently. That being said, I'm sure she still has a ways to go in terms of getting better. Grammy's 50th Kept on Going and Going and Going

Many of the ladies on the red carpet had the chance to change outfits since they performed and presented as well. In fact, during some parts of the show the beautiful boys like John Mayer and John Legend were simply background fodder to Alicia Keys and Fergie's fabulous voices. We were especially excited to see Alicia getting down in an age appropriate outfit that made her shine. Kanye's touching performance to his mother also included a shockingly obvious hint to the orchestra to stop the send off music so he could thank his mom when he won for Best Rap Album.

Tina and Beyonce shook things up in their tight hot silver numbers (Tina, you still got it but the Posh wanna-be outfit was a bit much). Carrie Underwood changed into a hot little black number with sexy boots while Rihanna kept it playful with her fun feathery dress. The most anticipated performance of the night definitely belonged to Amy Winehouse who also won big. Her mom even stood by her side while she accepted Record of the Year. Overall, the performances were great and even though this was a special Grammy year - turning 50 and all - we hope next year they can keep the show to under 3 hours. That was certainly a long one folks.

The Ladies of the Grammys Got the Blues

The ladies of the music world got all fancied up for the Grammys last night, but we were left feeling a bit disappointed. Rihanna looked cute as part of the blue brigade, which also included Alicia Keys and Nelly Furtado. Fergie stood out in her yellow number but we couldn't take our eyes off of Beyonce, who drew more attention with her new super blond highlights than with her sparkly dress. You guys are liking Carrie's look for the best dressed, but all in all, we were more impressed with our starlets' performances on stage than on the red carpet.
