Many moms and dads believe the world will be a better place for our children with Barack Obama as President. A recent
Newsweek piece speculated that a baby boom might be a result of this euphoric election. Does our next Commander-in-Chief make you want to have a baby?

For years, Bill and Hillary Clinton have been the portrait of the American political couple — while of course they've always had their detractors and critics — they've stood as powerhouses both on their own and together. Even before her campaign for president ended, however, to some the election season
exposed a less than pleasant underbelly of the Clintons. While Bill and Hill supported Barack Obama, at times it seemed like they were intentionally not putting their hearts in the campaign.

Now that the brutal — in both length and ferocity — election season is over, it's time to mend some broken fences. While
making up with friends and family wasn't what you were most excited for post-election, there already seems to be less tension in the air and fewer heated political arguments during casual conversation. There's nothing wrong with a little healthy debate amongst friends, but there's also something to be said for putting any name-calling behind us.

If you grew up in the '80s in a less-than-diverse town, the Huxtables may have the been the only African-American family you knew. At some point — probably rather later than was right — you made the connection: Theirs was not the typical American black experience.
Shifts in pop culture precede political and social change — or so I hear.

Now that we've taken care of the
Presidential Election, we have other issues to tackle, such as
pushing for a victory garden in the White House!
I shared with you some of
Barack Obama's favorite restaurants across America, and now I'm curious to know who you think should cook for our new President.

We've been hearing lots about what President-elect
Obama will do once he sets foot in the White House, but I'd like to steer the conversation to another titillating point: Barack's favorite dining spots. Sure, he's been seen eating in luncheonettes and diners along the campaign trail, but where does our soon-to-be chief really like to eat?

Barney's Barking, Biting Mad as His First Dog Term Ends Soon Don't get jealous lil guy! Seems like Barney (one of the two Scotties belonging to George W. Bush) may sense that another pup – one that we haven't even seen yet!

Leading up to the election, talk of the Bradley effect was all over the place — everyone was watching to see whether in the privacy of the voting booth, people would really pull the lever (or fill in the arrow) for the first black president. Then there was talk about the
"Obama effect" — people voting for him because of his race rather than his qualifications. Since Barack Obama's decisive victory, neither theory has been thrown around too much, but there's a new effect in town.

While Sarah Palin
excused herself from negativity and we've already looked at
some of the campaign trail rumors, according to Chief Political Correspondent Carl Cameron there's an "avalanche" of Palin information coming our way. In an interview with Fox News, he admitted that Palin was difficult behind the scenes, refused to be briefed before interviews, threw temper tantrums, and showed a worrying lack of international knowledge. For example, she didn't know Africa is a continent or which countries are in NAFTA.
