The Parties Don't Stop For the Golden Globes Crew

The InStyle bash wasn't the only place where the stars were celebrating after the Golden Globes. Big winners Tina Fey and Colin Farrell showed off their statues at the NBC party alongside happy new parents Amy Poehler and Will Arnett. Over at the Showtime event, Dexter costars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter posed for the first time as a married couple. Meanwhile, David Duchovny made sure to mention his "wife" multiple times last night perhaps to squash any lingering, rocky marriage rumors. Since Téa was nowhere in sight, David chatted with his Californication costar, Evan Handler. Adrian Grenier and Mark Wahlberg were living it up at the HBO affair with the cast of Entourage and a camera of their own. Bella beauty, Kate Winslet finished off her magical night by making the rounds with her husband Sam Mendes, looking happy as could be with her arms full of awards.

Seacrest Gets Snubbed: Intentional or Breaking the Rules?

ICYMI, Ryan Seacrest got denied by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie last night when he tried to run down from his platform and get an interview on the red carpet at the Golden Globes. On his radio show this morning, he said he didn't think the power couple knew who he was and he also remembered after the fact that it was against the rules to join NBC's teams on the carpet. Celebs Party In Style After the Golden Globes

After the trophies were handed out last night, the fun was just getting started at the Beverly Hilton. In Style and Warner Bros threw a bash that brought out big names from the night and a bunch of other stars that skipped the awards portion of the evening. Never one to miss a party in one of her family's hotels, Paris Hilton got a chance to show off her style, while Elizabeth Banks met up with her former costar Sarah Chalke. Gal pals Heidi Klum, Eva Longoria, and Kate Beckinsale caught up and shared a laugh while Emile Hirsch took the opportunity to show off his mustache to Molly Sims. Blake Lively had her fellow Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen in the house, and Leo looked happy to unwind with a drink after the long ceremony with Alan Horn, the President & COO of Warner Bros. Katie Arrives to Be Tom's Golden Prize For the Night

If Katie Holmes was exhausted last night, she certainly didn't show it in her face arriving in LA to meet up with Tom Cruise for the Golden Globe afterparty. Last night was Katie's final performance on Broadway, and right after she hopped across the country - slipping into a hot gold dress in the meantime and keeping a smile on her face. That's dedication (are you listening Piven?). Tom didn't win last night but he did look great on the red carpet, and we have a feeling that everyone in that room was rooting for Heath Ledger to take home the Best Supporting Actor award. Tom's role in Tropic Thunder isn't on anyone's short list for an Oscar nod, so he and Katie took advantage of the Golden Globe fun.

It Was a Night Full of Tears and Laughter at the Golden Globes

After last year's abridged version of the Globes, everyone seemed excited to go back to the traditional show with all the Hollywood glamour and exciting speeches. Jennifer Lopez kicked off the show in her gold revealing gown where she handed out the first award to last night's real star - Kate Winslet. The actress scored a double win at the beginning and the end of the show and her heartfelt loving thank yous to both Leo and her husband were a highlight. So was when she forgot someone in particular in her category - Kate recovered and gave Angelina a shout out as well, but phew, we got a little worried when she asked, "Who's the other one?" Bruce Springsteen joked that he has and never will be in the same category as Clint Eastwood again. Chris Nolan accepted Heath Ledger's posthumous win to a standing ovation from the whole room. Johnny Depp made a quick appearance to present Best Actress in a Musical/Comedy to Sally Hawkins. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie didn't take home any trophies but looked just fine cuddling up and kissing throughout the ceremony.

The 30 Rock crew got big laughs most of the night. Some of Alec's jokes fell flat but we're happy he scored an award and even happier loose cannon Tracey Morgan was allowed to accept the award for the show. Mad Men got to celebrate for real this year with their trophy for Best Dramatic Series. Colin Farrell was happy and surprised to win an award though he sniffed and made a not-so-appropriate coke joke. That still went over better than Sacha Baron Cohen, who was booed by the audience when he joked that because of the recession Madonna had to let go of her personal assistant Guy Ritchie. Spielberg getting the Cecile B. Demille award reminded us so much of why we love the movies especially what he has created. Mickey Rourke won Best Dramatic Actor but his acceptance speech was a little too colorful for the censors. Slumdog Millionaire and Vicky Cristina Barcelona were the big winners of the night and everyone enjoyed celebrating at one of our favorite award shows of the season.

Kate and the Golden Winners Celebrate in the Press Room

Kate Winslet got a kiss from her husband and director Sam Mendes as she celebrated her Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress awards at the Golden Globes. Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin goofed around with their 30 Rock costars though it was Tracy Morgan who stole the show with his acceptance speech. The Mad Men cast all stood together and many other stars that won, as well as presenters, posed and looked gorgeous in the happy press room.

The night's biggest winner was Slumdog Millionaire, which the cast, producer, director and writers humbly accepted. Lots of other celebrities took home the gold - check out the full list of winners here. Steven Spielberg was honored with the impressive Cecile B. DeMille award, where he talked about the value of having a mentor in the industry. Anyone who has Spielberg as a mentor is one lucky aspiring director and last night he joined the elite ranks of previous winners.

The Ladies Go For the Gold on the Globes Red Carpet

Many of our favorite stars walked the red carpet at the Golden Globes last night and it appears as if nude-colored numbers were the new black. Angelina Jolie took a break from posing with Brad to show off her sparkly Versace gown, while J Lo showed some serious skin in her gold Marchesa. Salma Hayek was showing off those assets in one of the night's many Dior numbers. Penelope, Isla and Beyonce all glowed in their gowns as well.

Cameron Diaz and Slumdog Millionaire's Freida Pinto added some pizzazz to the evening with their bright hues. Anne Hathaway and Drew Barrymore both opted for different beautiful shades of blue. Kate Winslet looked classic in black while Heidi Klum went with something, umm,... modern, with her big waist detail. The Men Keep It Classy and Classic For Golden Globes

There weren't a whole lot of bright colors for the men on the red carpet at last night's Golden Globes but if it ain't broke, there's no use in fixing it. Even without taking any chances, the boys looked great on a sunny LA day that allowed for some of them to sport their sunglasses. Tom Cruise looked fantastic as his wife was performing her last show on Broadway before immediately heading to LA to meet up with her husband for the after parties. Brad Pitt didn't leave Angelina's side while Leonardo had Kate Winslet on his arm for the photos. Some of our favorite TV stars like Jon Hamm, David Duchovny, and Kiefer Sutherland got to mingle with the big screen elite and everyone cleaned up well for the big show.
