Portia de Rossi stopped by the TCAs in LA this morning to talk about her upcoming new show Better Off Fred. While she of course fielded questions about the Arrested Development movie (more tidbits here), Portia also took a moment to talk about a new personal project. The glamorous actress is designing a line of vegan shoes!

Some of the biggest pop stars in the world introduced their new Disney shows at the TCAs. Demi Lovato was up first for Sonny With a Chance and she was also excited to talk about performing at the kids inauguration on Monday night. Although she hasn't met Malia and Sasha Obama yet, she's excited that they will be in the audience.

Amy Poehler's husband made us laugh earlier this week, but today it was her turn to show off her new TV show. Once called the The Office spinoff, it's now going to be focused on the minutia of local politics — check out lots of details about the show on Buzz. Aziz Ansari, Rashida Jones, and Amy Poehler kept the crowd laughing, which makes me very excited for the show which will premiere April 9, presumably with a title of some kind.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers was a spunky and handsome addition to yesterday's Showtime TCA event to meander through the next season of The Tudors. While Buzz has the info about his relationship with Joss Stone plus other tidbits from the day's panels, here's what Jonathan had to say about playing the famous character and what sex scenes are like:

It was Showtime's turn to present their newest show this morning at the TCAs, born from the mind of Steven Spielberg, The United States of Tara. After a video introduction from Spielberg himself, the cast and producers sat down to answer questions on the show. Toni Collette stars as a woman with Dissociative Identity Disorder, which her family and friends accept and work with rather than hide.

At the TCA tour today, the Entertainment President of CBS confirmed that the network is close to finishing a deal for a music/sketch type show. Now that it's really happening, tell us — would you watch John Mayer's variety show?

The stars of Fox celebrated their shows last night at LA club My House as part of the TCAs. The Osbournes mingled to support their new reality show while the young and adorable cast of the new show Glee were happy to chat. Joshua Jackson looked fantastic right down to his Adidas shoes and beyond just chatting about the future of Fringe, Josh joked around a little about when it's appropriate to hit on girls, and how he always stars in shows that are set in Massachusetts but never shoot there (Dawson's was in NC, Fringe in NYC).

Jason Bateman and Will Arnett are back together on a new show, only we won't be seeing much of them at all. The animated show, Sit Down, Shut Up, based on an Australian program premieres this spring and reunites a whole lot of Arrested Development cast, writers and producers. Of course, talks at their TCA lunch immediately went to the AD movie — which is apparently Valkyrie meets Hotel for Dogs, hilarious.

Kiefer Sutherland and the rest of the cast of 24 took the stage at this morning's Fox TCA panel, and while the questions kept coming back to whether or not the show condones torture, they managed to get a few good jokes in. After this week's four-hour season premiere and last month's TV movie 24: Redemption, are you on board with the new season? The show's producers and cast seem hopeful that a little break has made the show and Jack Bauer reinvigorated and ready to excite us.
