Are You Excited to See Jennifer Aniston Sing?
Jennifer Aniston is still hard at work on The Bounty with Gerard Butler, but she's gearing up for a new project that's going to show off some different talents. Her upcoming film The Goree Girls, which we learned more about last week, is apparently a musical in which Jen will be singing and playing the guitar. So far she's stayed away from music in her movies, but she did belt out "Happy Birthday" to Alec Baldwin on 30 Rock.

It Was a Night Full of Tears and Laughter at the Golden Globes
After last year's abridged version of the Globes, everyone seemed excited to go back to the traditional show with all the Hollywood glamour and exciting speeches. Jennifer Lopez kicked off the show in her gold revealing gown where she handed out the first award to last night's real star — Kate Winslet. The actress scored a double win at the beginning and the end of the show and her heartfelt loving thank yous to both Leo and her husband were a highlight.

Atonement, Charlie, Sweeney, Clayton, Country Score Big at Golden Globe Nominations
Hayden Panettiere, Ryan Reynolds and Quentin Tarantino were out bright and early this morning in LA to announce the nominees for the 65th annual Golden Globe Awards. For movies, in the drama categories, Atonement scored biggest with seven nominations including Best Picture, Director, Actor, Actress (go Keira!), and Screenplay.
Michael Jackson Cost The WMAs A Lot
The World Music Awards were last night in London and Lindsay Lohan hosted the event. I guess that's why she skipped out on the Bobby screening the other night. Anyway, the big news of the night was Michael Jackson, who, as usual, was dressed all in black.
Aussie MTV Music Awards Brings Celebs Down Under
A fairly random smattering of celebs made the trek out to the Australian MTV Music Awards on Sunday night. Fergie, Pink, Good Charlotte and 30 Seconds to Mars all went home with statues (check out all the winners here), but the real winner here is obviously that yellow nonsense Fergie is rocking. MTV announced the nominations for the 2006 Video Music Awards today. Shakira and The Red Hot Chili Peppers received the most nominations for the VMAs with 7 each. Both will compete for video of the year along with Christina and Madonna.
