And the Award Show Fun Continues

We were almost recovered from Oscar Madness and then there was more. This weekend the awards kept coming with the NAACP Image Awards, which also happened to feature some of our Oscar favorites. The red carpet was hot, but with LL Cool J as host, we sure the fun didn't stop there. It looks like Jennifer Hudson scored another one! Even Bono got to share in the winning! It's Always Sunny at the Image Awards

Aw, you didn't think that awards season was over, did you? This weekend the stars were out to celebrate the 38th Annual NAACP Image Awards in LA. The red carpet was dazzling (and apparently quite sunny) with celebs like America, Tyra, Jada and Vanessa. BTW, I haven't seen pics of Tyra where her fierce dress isn't blown to the side like that, so I'm not positive it isn't permanently that way. Hey, you gotta go for it -- awards season doesn't last forever! Kind of.

Earth-Tone Wearing Girls Are Breezy at NAACP Awards

Award season rolled on last night in LA at the 38th Annual NAACP Image Awards. The ladies of the night went with fairly similar necklines and earth tones, which happened to complement Vanessa Williams, America Ferrera and Jordin Sparks. Chandra Wilson is loving herself some sequins recently (can you blame her) while Kate Walsh kept it delightfully more understated. Speaking of all these phenomenal women, many of them walked away with statues last night. Both America and Vanessa won acting awards for Ugly Betty while Grey's Anatomy scored for best drama series. Vanessa Gets Busy with Awards Season

Vanessa Williams sure had a busy week. She looked fabulous as a presenter at The People's Choice Awards, and we're also loving the green dress she chose for the 38th Annual NAACP Image Awards nomination press conference. Dreamgirls once again scored a ton of nominations leading with eight and Beyonce led the individual nominations with five.
