After winning gold medal number seven of these <a href="http://popsugar.com/tag/2008+olympics" >Olympics</a> by <a href="http://popsugar.com/slide/1871029" >one hundredth of a second</a> on Saturday, record-setting gold number eight seemed to come a little easier for Michael Phelps Sunday morning in Beijing. Joined by his teammates Jason Lezak, Brendan Hansen, and Aaron Peirsol, the USA claimed gold in the 4x100 medley relay, setting a world record as they did it. The headline of course belongs to Michael Phelps and his eight gold medals, surpassing the record set by Mark Spitz at the 1972 Munich Olympics. Mr. Phelps could probably use a little relaxation after this amazing week that has been so much fun to watch.
