The 2009 NAACP Image Awards came to LA's Shrine Auditorium with cohosts Halle Berry and Tyler Perry leading the way. Everyone looked fantastic hitting the red carpet and mingling with old friends during the show — check out all of Fab's love it or hate it polls here. Dakota Fanning chose yet another strapless number but still looked perfectly pretty.

Robert De Niro's Tribeca Film Festival opened last night in an unconventional way. Al Gore hosted the event, which began with 9 short films about the environment in lieu of a full-length, big name movie like Spiderman-3 (which will premiere later on at Tribeca). The films are produced by SOS (Save Our Selves), which works towards raising awareness about global warming and climate change.

Lately we've been hearing a lot about Madonna the fashion designer, but it looks like she's ready to put her singing cap (and dancing shoes) back on. Madge has signed on to take part in Al Gore's Live Earth concert, along with a ton of the hottest acts in the music industry. It seems like just yesterday Cameron Diaz was with Gore and Pharrell announcing the big event.

Cameron, Al Gore and Pharrell got together yesterday to announce plans for a Live Earth concert. The event will hopefully raise awareness and money for environmental organizations in the same way that Live Aid did for Famine, Farm Aid did for farming and Live 8 did for Africa. The event, which will take place on 7 continents on July 7th, has already lined up stars like Pharrell, John Legend, Black Eyed Peas, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson.

Never one to miss a party, Diddy showed up with quite an entourage to the Warner Music Group Grammy After Party. But before the awards, his late arrival to JT's pre-Grammy party caused a stir with the cast of Grey's Anatomy. Apparently T.R.

Will Ferrell, Leo and Jay-Z landed 3 different covers for GQ's 11th annual Men of the Year issue, but all the guys looked truly deserving of cover boy status at the event last night. The Men of the Year awards was held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in LA and the honored guests clearly took the time to look their best. Even Jackass Johnny got in on the dress up action, but we do wish he would have worn a cleaner pair of shoes.

Live Earth went down on Saturday and boy did the stars come out for the big event. Concert venues ranged from London to South Africa, Tokyo to New York and everywhere in between (including Antarctica, at which a few of the resident scientists performed), raising awareness about global warming. Eco-friendly stars like Cameron & Leo (looking very hot, btw) made cameos as well as some new faces on the environmental scene.
