Anne Heche's estranged husband Coley Laffoon has filed court papers questioning whether Anne is psychologically capable of taking care of their son. He's requesting custody and $33,000 per month in child support. We're sure Anne's not happy about that. - AP

Countdown to Ocean's 13

Okay, let's be honest here -- we can't wait for the release of Ocean's 13! Ocean's 12 paled in comparison to Ocean's 11, but we were still total suckers for the boys against that gorgeous European backdrop. For the newest installment the guys are back in tried and true Vegas, but we're sure they've got some new tricks up the sleeves of those suave suits. Al Pacino is joining the cast as Ocean and his crew's next target. While Ellen Barkin gets to play the sexy older woman that Matt Damon falls for. Lucky lady. Tidal Wave of Ocean's Boys Hits LA

Hollywood's Most Popular were out, and gorgeous, at last night's LA premiere of Ocean's 13. I must say, although Angelina retreated away from another colorful statement, she looked absolutely stunning -- not to mention completely in love -- despite Brad keeping it pretty casual. Speaking of casual, what do you guys think of Casey Affleck's hair? That being said, George, Matt, Don, there's literally nothing worth complaining about here! Most importantly though, all the wonderful boys looked like they were having a blast with each other on the red carpet after their cement-filled afternoon. Now, only a few more days until the rest of us get to catch the Ocean's 13 fun.

Javier Bardem Is More Than Just a Tomato in the Market

Javier Bardem mugged for the camera with the help of a paintbrush for a photo shoot in the Fall 2008 Men's Fashion Issue of T Magazine. Almost one year after his award-winning role in No Country For Old Men, Javier is still one of Hollywood's hottest, even though he's admittedly too lazy to do more than one or two movies a year. In the article, he talks about his latest film and how his life has changed over the last year and reveals a few things you never knew about him. Here are highlights:

On changing things up after No Country For Old Men: "This is the first time in 20 years that I’m playing a leading man in a romantic comedy. It was a conscious decision: in my early career I waited for more complex roles to come, knowing that they might not ever come. The complexity of Chigurh was a kind of dream - the Coen brothers are my favorite directors of all time. On that movie, I was the only foreigner. And Chigurh really comes out of nowhere, which helped with the character, but it was a little isolating. In Vicky Cristina, I’m with these three beauties. I was afraid no one in the audience would believe they’d ever be with me. I was in the makeup trailer saying, 'You better work a miracle.'"
On loving movies: "I don’t believe in God, but I believe in Al Pacino. The other day I was watching Dog Day Afternoon again, and I see a man who is so true, so interesting and I understand more about the world from his performance. And you go, 'C’mon, it’s only acting.' Well, wouldn’t you say that a good book or a good painting allows you to see the world in a different way? When I see a great performance, I feel more alive."
On his career: "As a kid, I felt happy onstage, but beforehand I would think, What am I doing here? I should be in the playground with my friends. I’m the same today: we actors are lazy. I like to take a year off between films. Some actors need to work for the money, but money is not a priority for me. I don’t have the need for a lot of cars or houses. Since I am a tomato in the market, I have a price. They have to pay the price, but money is not my biggest priority."

On how he was received back home after winning an Oscar: "The Spanish are tough. They criticize my work and say I sold out. You want to say, 'Stop it - you’re a bunch of stupid people.' But you are never going to be liked by everybody. After the Oscars, I came back to Madrid, where I live. I wanted to get back to the real world. After something like the awards, you’ve changed a little bit, but everyone around you has changed tremendously. You have to bring them back - you have to show that you are the same stupid, limited guy and not this kind of golden boy."
On learning from his roles: "On When you act, you learn things. Before No Country I had never held a gun and now I can drive a car. When I was doing Chigurh, my English became so good that I was dreaming in English. Actors don’t learn because they want to know - we learn because we have to learn. I wish I would play a cook, so I could learn to make something worth eating."
On his hidden talent: "From the ages of 19 to 23, I studied painting. Initially, I worked as an extra in movies to get money to keep painting. Now I paint very secretly."

We don't blame Javier for taking advantage of time off when he can get it, but we're still looking forward to seeing a lot more from him in the future - and maybe even get a peek at his secret paintings someday.

Pacino Joins Ocean's Cast

As if the Ocean sequel needed any more star power? Just to up the ante, they have added Al Pacino to the cast. Variety reports:

Details of the plot are being kept under wraps, but Warners revealed that Pacino will be playing Willie Banks, the owner of a high-profile casino and hotel in Las Vegas.

The movie will begin filming this summer and be in theaters in the summer of 2007.

Is Al Pacino dating Kirstie Alley? The two were spotted getting cozy at the Chateau Marmont. Kirstie does look better these days. Good for her and their publicists - it's good news to know Kirstie is getting dates these days. And Pacino none the less. Although, this is obviously not quite as exciting as the Jude/Selma new couple of the day.

Tom, Oprah, & a Few Friends Celebrate His 25 Years in Movies

Tom Cruise's celebration of 25 years of making movies rolls on, including this morning's dramatic launch of TomCruise.com after a weekend long countdown that had everyone guessing. There's a message from Tom, a video homage, and a promise of lots more to come! Very cool. Part two of his triumphant return to Oprah and celebration of his career also airs today and this time, it's all about his films. After Friday's show in his peaceful Telluride home focused a lot on his personal life and controversies, this second half is much more about honoring all things Tom and his amazing career. His famous friends like Will, Jada, David, Victoria, and Steven were happy to film some segments for the man of the hour. Here are highlights:

On making Risky Business: "I was always trying to enjoy every moment that I could because I thought, 'If this is the last film I get to make, then at least I lived that dream.' . . . I had no idea that I'd be here 25 years later doing this."
Victoria Beckham on Tom: "One of our first dates, we went to the movies to see Jerry Maguire, and I wore glasses . . .It was first time David kissed me, and he completely steamed up my glasses. When we got to know Tom, we told him the story of how it was one of our first dates, and he sent us the jacket that he wore in one of the scenes, and he signed it . . . And David hasn't taken the jacket off since. I make him wear it."
Will Smith on Tom: "Every man can't just slide in a room nekkid with sunglasses on and pull it off . . . So I knew at that point . . . he's a star . . . I've met very few people who have made that commitment that when they leave this place, they want the world to be better, period, because they were here. And this dude has made that. There's not a single piece of press, there's not been a single interview, there's not been a single image in the 25 years of his career that gets anywhere near capturing who he is. Well, Tom, man, congratulations. We've got nothing but love for you, T.C."
Steven Spielberg on Tom: "Tom compels the audience to listen to what he says. They listen when he says a line of dialogue or even when he's being silent. He's a magnet for our attention . . . To have [the opportunity to work with Tom twice] really meant a great deal to me, and I love him and his family, and they mean a lot to me."

Jada on Tom: "To me, nothing that he's done professionally holds a candle to who he is as a human being. And that's real."
On making Top Gun: "I don't know why I wasn't offered musicals after that . . . I always wanted to be a pilot. [As a kid,] I used to travel with two pictures when we moved around. I had a picture of a P-51 and a Spitfire. And I used to make models all the time of airplanes."
Renee Zellweger on the day they filmed "You Complete Me": "I don't know what he was thinking about when he came through that door, but he was a wreck," she said. "He brought something with him that day . . . He was born with some magic about him, and you can't describe it, and you can't dissect what makes Tom Cruise special."
On making Mission: Impossible: "I really wanted to give the audience a thrill," Tom says. "We spent four days doing that scene, and I was on the mountain with just a thin wire kind of holding me as we were doing it. It was really exciting."
Jamie Foxx on Tom: "Mr. Cruise was so gracious it changed my life as far as my acting career goes . . . Born on the Fourth of July, to me, was where he is an actor. It was a departure from his movie star,. You saw how wide his acting muscle was and he reached, in that movie, Oscar-worthy, everything-worthy . . . 25 years? Why don't you give me some of those magic beans you taking, man, because you look like you're about 25 yourself!"
On why he loves making movies: "You know that you never do anything alone and you're all together and you're all going through this experience and you're going away from your families. I feel privileged to be able to do what I do, and I need everyone's help."
On who else he wants to work with: "There's [Al] Pacino. [Robert] DeNiro. That's really just to name a few. There's so many that I really want to work with, and that I want to work with again."
Tom on his career: "I just feel really privileged to be able to do what I do, and I thank you all for allowing me to entertain you . . . I feel that this is what I'm supposed to do . . . I love it."

Congratulations to Tom for his 25 years as a movie star! We can't wait to see what he comes up with to entertain us, make us laugh, and keep us on the edge of our seats with next.

Adam Sandler Channels Inner Pacino

Fresh off his movie's surprising opening weekend #1 spot at the box office, Adam Sandler put on his very best Al Pacino wig to roam the streets of NYC yesterday. I kid, of course, he's wearing the ridiculous hair/goatee combo for his upcoming movie You Don't Mess With the Zohan. And don't even get me started on that tank-top hooded sweatshirt. No wonder they won't let him in the Paul Mitchell salon. Well, something tells me this means Adam is sticking to the comedies for a little while at least. Fingers crossed he finds a way that snortface Matzoh Ball can make a cameo. Love him.
