Sep 15 2008 - 6:00am One week before next weekend's
Primetime Emmy Awards lots of stars of the small screen came out in LA on Saturday for the presentation of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The show airs Saturday and was hosted by two of my favorites, Sarah Chalke and Neil Patrick Harris, who kept the laughs coming. As expected,
Mad Men and
John Adams both took home multiple statues —

Aww, thats sad about Sarah Silverman. She looked nice though.
And
for Jenna Fischer!!
1Does anyone else find it awkward that she would bring up her break-up during a brief acceptance speech?
2meh
3Sarah Silverman is just about the most unfunny comedian ever so no, I dont find it awkward at all, Heidi. lol
Yay for Kathy Griffin! She was a riot in concert and her show makes me laugh out loud. She almost looks attractive here also. Weird.
4I hope that now that she has this completely undeserved award, we will never hear from Sarah Silverman again. She's not funny, she's just crass and has no class. (I mean really, calling out your ex boyfriend in your acceptance speech? Tacky.)
I LOVE Kathy Griffin! I'm glad she's finally getting the recognition she deserves!
5KG & SS are annoying, not necessarily funny...like they try too hard
6can't wait to see Kathy present the Prime Time Emmyy, it's gonna be hilarious.
7I love that I'm F*cking Matt Damon song!
8I LOVE Sarah's dress. So gorgeous!
9First impression...how the hell did Tom Hanks get in this group?? Like he went through the wrong door or something.
10Congrats to Kathy & Sarah! I love both of them, but I'd much rather see Kathy Griffin live in concert. She's hilarious!
11i think that the academy is getting it right these days. there are certainly a lot of shows/ppl that should win, but i feel like this list this year is ok - and that the right folks are taking home awards!
12Kathy Griffin is SO damn annoying!!
