Life's a Beach for Kate and Alex

While much of the country was recovering from their Thanksgiving feast on Friday, Kate Walsh continued to enjoy the beach and native wildlife in Hawaii with her husband Alex. She's taking advantage of her unexpected time off due to the writers' strike, but hopefully it won't last too long. Strike negotiations resumed today, and our fingers are crossed that they'll reach an agreement quickly so we won't lose the whole rest of the season. In the meantime, Kate can continue to show off her bikini collection - and her equally impressive bikini body.

Kate Walsh's Hawaiian Holiday

While lots of us think of Thanksgiving as a time to sit down with friends and family, Kate Walsh decided to turn her holiday into a little romantic getaway instead. She and her husband Alex Young jetted to Maui on Wednesday to trade in their turkey and stuffing for sandy beaches and swims in the ocean. Can't say that we blame them - as much as we love our traditions, you can't go wrong with spending a few days in sunny paradise.

Kate Walsh Gets Married

As expected, Kate Walsh and her fiancé Alex Young got married Saturday night at Ojai Presbyterian Church. The Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice star moved quickly with her man and wasted no time to tie the knot. People reports:

Walsh, 39, wore a custom-made Monique Lhuillier wedding gown as she and Young, 36, exchanged vows at the Ojai Presbyterian Church in the town of Ojai north of Los Angeles. A gospel choir sang "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts at the beginning of the ceremony.

Among the about 100 guests were Grey's costars Katherine Heigl, Chandra Wilson, Sara Ramirez and Justin Chambers, as well as the show's creator Shonda Rhimes. Also attending were actress Kate Beckinsale and her director husband Len Wiseman.

A lavish reception was scheduled to follow at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa's Casa Elar, a Spanish-style estate where guests enjoyed a sit-down dinner.

Kate Walsh and her fiancé Alex Young went from a disagreement to a kiss. The engaged couple must be busy preparing all the final details for their wedding this weekend. We hope Kate knows how to destress on her big day especially considering she's admitted she's already had some freak out moments. These two have only been together for a few months but they seem to be moving as quickly as her career skyrocketed this year. Hopefully we'll get some great wedding pics this weekend. Stay tuned.

Men of the Year Celebrate Themselves More

While the red carpet had its share of hot guys and pretty young ladies, inside last night's GQ Men of the Year party was where things really got hopping. And by that, I mean Ryan Gosling was there. Geeky guys obviously rule, with Justin Chambers pulling off a bit of the Clark Kent about to become Superman thing with his undone shirt. At the event, Hayden lamented the fact that men traditionally get better roles than women. She said, "In general, there have always been better male roles than females, which has been a struggle." While that's no secret, little Hayden's got a mighty strong girl to play on Heroes. Now, how much fun would it be to party with this group of guys (and girls)?

Paris Has A Swede New Import

Paris wasn't ready to let her ~~flavor of the week~~ newest boy escort her to the amfAR Rocks benefit in NYC last night but she met up with him at Butter later on for a few photo ops. We already knew that Paris likes her boys young and international but apparently rich is no longer on her list of requirements. She picked up her 22-year-old Swedish boy toy Alex Vaggo on a street corner outside of his $27 dollar per night hostel and he's already reaping the benefits of hanging out with Paris - she's even trying to score him a gig with Ford Models. Not too shabby for a guy who was just checking out a few of the sights in Hollywood. He'll definitely have a pretty sweet story to take home with him even if it doesn't work out with Paris.

The Art Elysium Gala Helps Fill Red Carpet Party Void

Golden Globes who? The Art of Elysium 10th Anniversary Gala's where the party was at in LA this weekend. At least a few gowns got put to good use. The cool kids like Courteney Cox and Lenny Kravitz perfected their Blue Steels. Meanwhile, solo Rachel Bilson caught up with her Last Kiss costar Zach Braff, whose tan had the ladies gazing. Elsewhere at the party couples like Harrison/Calista and Ellen/Portia made the rounds. Rumer Willis who was probably disappointed about the awards since she was set to be Miss Golden Globe, got to walk the red carpet in a long black number like Ashley Olsen (who must have been too cold to lose the jacket). Jessica Really Appeals to the Teens

Apparently Jessica and Cash didn't have time to take advantage of being in Paris after Eva and Tony's wedding, because the two were at the airport on their way out yesterday morning. And don't they just look thrilled as usual (though I'm loving her coat)? Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer may have been a bit overshadowed by the other Summer blockbusters, but the Teen Choice Awards committee took notice and nominated Jessica for 3 awards: Hissy Fit, Female Hottie, Action Adventure Actress. The show isn't until the end of August, but you can vote here. Mark my words, teens love Jessica, but she may have to lose to Seacrest in the Hissy Fit category.

Grey's Reunites to Help the Homeless, Talk Wedding Plans

Almost the whole cast of Grey's came out to support co-star Eric Dane who hosted the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball this weekend in Brentwood to benefit the homeless. Looks like he has quite a few good friends in his costars! At the event Ellen Pompeo had her wedding plans on her mind, however it sounds like she plans to keep things private unlike what we expect from some of her other engaged co-stars. According to People, Ellen said, "It's going to be very small...We were thinking about going away and getting married." Isn't that what cute Bradley Cooper did? It didn't seem to work for him but he's looking fabulous post his recent split.
