Julia Roberts and Danny Moder were arm in arm at the Jonathan Beach Club in Santa Monica last night. They paired up for Heal the Bay's Bring Back the Bay charity event, which also brought out Amy Smart, Ali Larter, and Julia-Louis Dreyfus. Julia wore a polka-dot Moschino jumpsuit to the fundraising gala, where she and her husband Danny were honored along with Amy for their leadership and environmental accomplishments. Amy's husband Carter Oosterhouse was on hand for support. Julia is coming off a busy few months that included promoting Mirror Mirror with costar Lily Collins and premiering Jesus Henry Christ with Michael Sheen. Julia was able to fit in family time, though, and took a Hawaiian vacation with her kids Hazel, Phinneaus, and Henry.

The organization's fifth annual gala, held at LA's Sunset Tower Hotel, brought out stars like Edward Norton, Ali Larter, Sophia Bush, and Ben Stiller. LeAnn Rimes wore a revealing Tom Ford dress on the carpet, looking happy to pose for photos. The evening was organized to benefit Paul Haggis's Artists For Peace and Justice organization. Jon apparently ended up the night's big winner, and became the proud owner of a brand new watch. It's a highlight during a busy period for Jon. His Mad Men will be back on AMC on March 25 - check out the new Mad Men promos. He's also got Friends With Kids, a movie written, directed by, and starring his real-life girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt, opening on March 9.

Ali Larter Is Working on a Cookbook

In a question-and-answer session on Reddit this morning, Ali Larter announced she's got plans beyond acting, and is working on a book of recipes.

"I've . . . been working on a cookbook about entertaining. I started traveling at a young age, and cooking/entertaining was a way to create a familial environment everywhere I went," Larter wrote.

The Heroes star joins a growing list of Hollywood stars including Gwyneth Paltrow, Sheryl Crow, and Eva Longoria, who've all come out with cookbooks of their own. Ali Larter held her baby son Theodore yesterday while out for a walk in LA! The adorable duo explored the streets of Santa Monica, and Theo alternated between being in Ali's arms and resting in his stroller. Ali and her husband, Hayes MacArthur, welcomed little Theodore six months ago in late December. The happy couple has since been all about their bundle of joy, though Hayes focused on work for a bit to shoot his now-cancelled NBC series Perfect Couples. Ali is easing back into the Hollywood social scene and recently stepped out for a photography opening at the Annenberg Space For Photography as well as a Chanel-sponsored NRDC fundraiser earlier this month. Her next big screen appearance will be in Resident Evil: Retribution, the followup to 2010's Resident Evil: Afterlife with her costar Milla Jovovich.

Katie Holmes and Gisele Bundchen shared a red carpet last night to celebrate the Beauty Culture exhibit, which opens tomorrow, at the Annenberg Space For Photography in LA. It's a collection of images from various photographers, including a snap of Gisele herself, designed to make viewers question the pursuit of beauty. More Hollywood stars came out for the event, including Halle Berry, Ali Larter, and Amber Heard. Supermodel Gisele wrote that she was home in LA after a quick trip to the Amazon, where she was able to do the environmental work that's close to her heart. She posted on her blog, "What a magical place the Amazon is, and so full of history and legends . . . I’m here, sharing my special experience and feelings so we can all think about it. We need and we want to develop, but not at the cost of damaging the planet." The visit was one of philanthropy and fashion, as there was a Gisele Bundchen bikini sighting in Sao Paolo when she took the runway for the Hope Valentine's Day special collection show last week. Katie, meanwhile, is back on the West Coast after a stop in Chicago to honor Oprah and a stint in Florida. She got some swimsuit time in as well when she hit the pool with daughter Suri at her Miami hotel, near where husband Tom Cruise has been working on Rock of Ages.
