Paris Parties but the Hottie Is Nothing to Celebrate

Paris doesn't turn 27 until next weekend but America's number one party girl started a week early with an 80's themed party this weekend at Area. The pink haired, tiara wearing heiress may have had fun at her pre-birthday bash but one thing she could not be happy about was the box office bomb that was The Hottie and the Nottie. As reported earlier, the movie opened on just over 100 screens and now it turns out the per screen average was only $225 bringing in a whopping $25,000 weekend total. Pathetic and not a good sign for the wanna-be-actress. To put it in perspective, Fool's Gold scored the top box office spot with $22 mil on over 3,000 screens - that's over $7,000 per screen. Hmm, methinks Paris's agent is going to have a hard time scoring her next big screen role.

Golden Globe Swag Suites Still Bring Out Some Fierce Stars

The Golden Globes may not be going on as hoped, but that doesn't mean that the swag suites will all go to waste. Some - sorry guys - not-so-A-Listers were out in LA yesterday at the Kari Feinstein Winter Style Lounge to get their hands on some of the free stuff. Some of the first in line included Entourage's Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rex Lee, and Jeremy Piven. Chuck's Zachary Levi and Joshua Gomez brought a whole new level of meaning to posing fiercely in their fur vests. I'm sure they took those bad boys home. I'm thinking that most of the actual nominees who are boycotting the awards won't be swooping in to snag the swag, but who knows, perhaps the draw of free free free is too much to bear for some.

Paris Takes Over As Alli's Way To Get Her Photo Taken

Paris Hilton kept it gold (this time in unflattering lame!) throwing another Malibu beach party on Saturday. This time she was joined by Britney's recently subpoenaed "cousin" and aspiring pop star, Alli Sims. Apparently her number one photo op was busy elsewhere for the weekend and what better way to guarantee a paparazzi frenzy than show up at Paris' place. Meanwhile, that infant is so not enjoying his first moment of fame in the heiress' arms. As for Alli's usual starlet BFF, Britney, check back in a little to see the first pictures of her natural hair post-head shaving!

Ryan Gets Himself Emmy Ready, Britney Does Not

It's an Emmys weekend and you know what that means - gifting suites! Yay for celebrities getting free stuff. In case you missed it, we're giving away some free stuff too - so fill out the Ballot! Do it! As these not-quite-A-Listers gathered up some goodies, the big show's big names are gearing up. No, not Britney, who definitely isn't appearing after all. Ryan Seacrest took a moment out of his busy schedule to talk about his hosting gig, saying that beyond a possible song/dance number there will be other surprises. He told Extra, "There’s a very interesting costume change, which could be the biggest mistake of my career…it’s that embarrassing." Anyone else picturing Ryan as Ugly Betty?

Britney and Adnan Shop, Wander, Hopefully Don't Have a Baby

Stop me if you've heard this one before: Britney Spears spent Tuesday in at least three different outfits meandering around LA with skeevy Adnan and (ahem) making her way through throngs of paparazzi like usual while her boys trucked along at Kevin's. Apparently Brit's got herself a boyfriend in LA and a realtor in Dallas these days, at least according to her shirt. How's that for publicity? What other Britney stories are we wading through today? Well, Sam is thankfully denying the suicide-note rumor while OK! is going with the cover story that she's trying to get pregnant again. That seems like a horrible idea, so hopefully this is another false baby for Britney, though she was seen shopping for pregnancy tests on Monday. Fingers crossed she's just trying to mess with the media - another baby is the last thing she needs.

Also probably not on the list of things she needs? Another one of her close friends talking to the press. But that didn't stop Alli Simms from sitting down with Us Weekly. Among other defending-Britney stuff, she talked about Brit's new man. She said, "I do not think Adnan is a good person. . . . I think he only has bad intentions. He has given me a weird feeling and creeped me out. I wish he would just go away." I'll second that.

Britney Starts Work on Chaotic, Season 2

Yesterday afternoon Britney Spears decided to turn the cameras on the paparazzi for a change leaving Acapulco restaurant in Burbank (drink in hand) and visiting the recording studio. She's certainly not the first celebrity to try this one out (heck, Adrian Grenier is making a documentary about it), but I have a feeling that Britney will enjoy watching this video back at home. She did air an entire reality TV show of just her home movie footage, after all. With her was her new Alli Simms lookalike sidekick. At least Britney looks halfway decent here...though I do wish someone would hide all her brown boots from her for a little while. They could probably use some air.
