Ali Larter Leads the Launch

While some of her fellow Heroes were off celebrating media honors, Ali Larter decided to get a little fancier at the Stormy Weather Jewelry Launch in LA last night. The fireplace and candles make this seem like a pretty intimate affair, and we bet Ali had a lot of fun checking out the jewels (and maybe even scoring some swag). Her on-screen counterpart continued to wreak havoc on last night's episode of Heroes, but off screen Ali was pretty and poised as always.

Kim, Rachel, Kirsten and Kristin Hold Down the FW Fort

Today held another round of runway shows at New York Fashion Week as the stars tirelessly head out to Bryant Park to see the latest fashions. Rachel Bilson supported her good friend Brian Reyes and his Spring collection. Kirsten Dunst laughed in the front row of the Rodarte show which displayed Native American looks. Kristin Cavallari showed off her sexy black dress with a cutout back at the Walter presentation as many other celebrities like Nicky Hilton, Amanda Bynes and of course Anna Wintour checked out the scene.

Viva La Gossip Girl

Blake Lively and her on-screen mom Kelly Rowland hit the pink carpet at the Viva La Cure Benefit for Women's Cancer Research last night in NYC with other stars like Amanda Peet and Brooke Shields. Gossip Girl may be just getting started, but Blake is already feeling the effects of her newfound celebrity. As the November cover girl for CosmoGirl, Blake talked about getting up close and personal with some of Hollywood's finest. She said,

"It is a crazy and completely insane business. I'll go to an event wearing some designer gown and tens of thousands of dollars in jewels that were lent to me for the night, and I'll walk around and meet people who I always thought were such a big deal."

She even talks about Brad Pitt's poo. I can't wait to read the rest of the interview and see where it goes. As for getting to wear all those fabulous clothes on and off the set - sounds rough . Garner Gets the Girls Together to Support Cancer Research

Jen got some of her famous friends together for an Oscar De La Renta boutique opening in Beverly Hills yesterday. It wasn't all about gorgeous dresses since the event benefited the EIF Women's Cancer Research Fund. The ladies looked wonderful in their black and white outfits and we love seeing Jennifer all dressed up for a change. Amanda Peet looks like she lost all that baby weight already! As for Cindy Crawford, she looks fantastic - the woman does not look like she is aging.

The Ladies Go For the Gold on the Globes Red Carpet

Many of our favorite stars walked the red carpet at the Golden Globes last night and it appears as if nude-colored numbers were the new black. Angelina Jolie took a break from posing with Brad to show off her sparkly Versace gown, while J Lo showed some serious skin in her gold Marchesa. Salma Hayek was showing off those assets in one of the night's many Dior numbers. Penelope, Isla and Beyonce all glowed in their gowns as well.

Cameron Diaz and Slumdog Millionaire's Freida Pinto added some pizzazz to the evening with their bright hues. Anne Hathaway and Drew Barrymore both opted for different beautiful shades of blue. Kate Winslet looked classic in black while Heidi Klum went with something, umm,... modern, with her big waist detail. Simon's So Vain, He Probably Thinks This Post Is About Him

So much for the best season of Idol ever. Last night was another letdown. I still heart Brooke. The song, her voice, her look, and her banter with Simon are all adorable. Also love the modesty - not from Simon, from Brooke of course. Other winners were Carly and Ramiele. The rest were just whatever. I'm not buying Kristy Lee Cook's attempt to be wholesome. Amanda needs to stop trying too hard. The hair and outfit were painful to look at and should we really reward someone who simply sounds like she smokes three packs of cigarettes a day? Oh and need I mention the DUI?

Asia'h's the closing number was just a mistake. She was not impressive, and it was embarrassing. Apparently the flu is still causing problems, but what's going to be the excuse next week? Let's just get down to the final 12 already. Bye Bye Jason Yager, Robbie, and Amanda and Alexandrea. Buzz's recap here and don't forget to vote off your girls here!

Celebs Spread Their Wings (Wallets) at the Butterfly Ball

Saturday night was The 7th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in support of Chrysalis, a fundraiser that helps the homeless find jobs and homes. Almost the entire cast of Grey's Anatomy as well as other big names like Ashton and Demi came out to lend a hand for this great cause. Kutcher, who only had eyes for Demi, reunited with some of his That '70s Show costars like the always adorable Mila Kunis and Topher Grace. Also making their first appearance as husband and wife was Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller who tied the knot on Friday. The twosome actually met at the event two years ago. We love when celebs do good and since the event raised over $1 million we couldn’t be more excited to report on it.

American Idol Top 11 Butcher the Beatles

Simon was spot on when he said doing Beatles for a second week basically killed all the great memories from last week. I don't understand how there are so many wonderful Beatles tunes to choose from and yet somehow this group managed to pick things we had never heard or just destroy some classics. Such a shame.

Once again I liked Brooke; even though this week showed all her quirky awkward traits, I agreed with Paula that she just makes me smile. Others who were worth watching were David Archuleta, Syesha, Jason Castro, and David Cook. While Cook was impressive, he is clearly getting cocky, which is why I think Simon was trying to put him back in his place last night. Also, even though Simon bashed Michael Johns, it took major guts to do that song so he's got to get some credit for that.

Amanda - still bugs. What can I say, I just am in no way into her. Average Kristy Lee and Carly will probably make it through, while adorable Ramiele may be in the bottom three but I am hoping Chikezie takes her place instead. I enjoyed him but I think, like the judges, many people didn't like him.

American Idol Top 8 Women

The ladies were not as thrilling as the men, but there were still plenty of pretty faces to look at and voices to hear. Besides, crazy Paula knew to up the ante last night to fill in the gap of boringness.

I expected more bad Whitney Houston imitations, but we only had one and of course it was the opening number. Asia'h was OK, but I think she is in trouble along with the performer who followed her, Kady.
As much as I want Amanda gone, figures Simon raved about her, so she should secure that top 12 position.
Kristy Lee did not do Journey justice, and Carly was just a solid good, while Ramiele was better but I was more focused on her glossy lips than anything else.
Brooke was loved again this week, although it was not my favorite performance of hers.
Syesha was an excellent closing number. She had a great look, voice, and energy to end the show on a high note.

Tonight, I am thinking bye bye Luke and David Hernandez, but since none of the ladies were standouts I will have to go with Asia'h and Kady. I hope Amanda takes her place, which is unlikely since she definitely has a lot of fans, including Simon. Lovely Ladies Support The Arts

Last night some of my favorite fabulous ladies attended the P.S. ARTS Party held at the Chanel boutique Beverly Hills. Ginnifer and Chris have long supported the organization, so it's no surprise to see them out for the cause. And don't they just look thrilled to be there? SMG may love herself a good bargain, but a party at Chanel definitely brings out the glamor-loving celebrity in her (and, apparently, a kinda 80s look). Needless to say - R-Bils is a highlight and it pains me to say, but perhaps the hair is pulled back a little too tight? Ouch. So, who is winning the battles of Chanel?
