Doesn't anyone stay together anymore? Pam and Kid and Hilary and Joel both just called it quits. Now Josh and Scarlett have split. A few weeks ago there were reports that Scarlett was always mad at him, they fought all of the time and they were on the rocks. Josh was then spotted with another woman in Australia. And it looks like he has taken a page from Ryan Phillippe's book and hooked up with the co-star of his latest film. Here's more:

On November 19, Australia’s Daily Telegraph ran photos of Josh Hartnett, 28, at a Sydney, Australia, airport with a “mystery woman” who was later identified as actress Amber Sainsbury, his costar in the upcoming horror-thriller 30 Days of Night.

According to the Telegraph, the pair holed up at a Sydney-area hotel and had brunch two days in a row at local café Forbes & Burton.

Harnett’s rep downplayed any romance, telling Us the actor has been hanging out with “a friend…nothing more.”

Not that Scarlett Johansson, 22, would mind. A source tells Us the couple of more than a year recently called it quits.

“They’ve just been growing apart for a while, and they had had enough,” the insider says.

Confirms a second source, “Yes, they broke up.”

Poor Scarlett. She was just saying how sweet Josh was. Hopefully she'll remembers that she's the Sexiest Woman Alive and she can really go out with whoever she wants!

Josh Is the Man of the (30 Days of) Night

Josh Hartnett was back to his icky facial hair ways at the premiere of his new movie 30 Days of Night in LA last night. The black carpet was appropriately colored considering the movie looks absolutely horrifying, but we guess it comes with the spirit of the Halloween season. Sadly Josh didn't bring his new lady of the hour, Rihanna, to the premiere, but maybe that was a smart move considering his old flame Helena Christensen was in the house. Josh Heart-Broken Hartnett

Josh Hartnett didn't appear too broken up about his split with long-time girlfriend Scarlett Johansson. In fact, he was reportedly seeing 30 Days of Night costar Amber Sainsbury before he even officially split with the Sexiest Woman Alive. He's also been linked to Gisele and, most recently, Sienna. However, the split with Scarlett was apparently very hard on Josh. Here's more:

"It was difficult spending so much time apart with all our different commitments and both of us flying all over the world." Josh said, ""At the end of the day, we're just ordinary people and it didn't work."
But a source says: "Josh was gutted when he and Scarlett split - he thought she was really special and felt they might last the distance. But the pressure just got too much and when they saw each other they'd row as they were both so exhausted. It's taken a while but he's getting over it now - he's just immersing himself in work."
The spy continues: "Scarlett was very much a one-off. She was independent, feisty and outgoing - everything he wanted. But the relationship just didn't work out."

Recently, he's now gotten involved with the Global Cool Campaign to take his mind off of things. Everyone deals with heartbreak in different ways, so it's nice to see that Josh is putting his free time towards helping the environment rather than wallowing in self-pity.
