Ladies Go Black and Gold for the ACE Awards

Last night the ladies got glam for the 11th Annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards in NYC. The ACE awards were given to a variety of designers and a few lucky actresses including Mandy Moore who won the Fashion Innovator award. Mandy looked fabulous with her brunette hair and simple sexy black dress. Jessica Simpson was looking amazing in her skin tight leopard print dress to present to the CEO of Macy's. Poor Deborah Norville made the unfortunate mistake of wearing the same dress as Jess - I would hate to be on that who wore it better poll. Lucy Liu wore one of the more adventurous dresses even if it was black. She was there to accept an award on behalf of Valentino. Heidi Klum looked great and golden but I didn't even recognize her at first glance. The model, host and jewelry designer was awarded the Fashion Influencer Award.

Scarlett Caught Consorting with the Enemy

Scarlett may be modeling for Louis Vuitton but that doesn't mean that she can't support the competition (at least when food and jewels are concerned). Scarlett hung with Amy Sacco at the Les Perles de Chanel private dinner in NY this week. Now that she's single she's got to make sure she can get into Bungalow 8!

Blonde Parade at Young Collectors Council Ball

Some hot young blondes came out in NYC last night for the Guggenheim Young Collectors Council Artist's Ball hosted by Chloe. Blake Lively looked great, as usual, helping Chace fill our Gossip Girl fix for this rerun week. One half of your favorite platonic TV duo of the year, Becki Newton looked hot other than those boots. Fab's got the look for you (with a better choice of footwear). Meanwhile, not Piper Perabo's best look at all. I'm sure a few fashion mishaps didn't get in the way of any sort of good time had by all the lovely ladies.

Christian Dior Them, From Their Heads to Their Toes

Penelope, Charlize, Anna and Kylie were just a few of the lovely ladies who came out for the Christian Dior Cruise Collection 2008 show in NYC last night. The models were all vamped up showing off some colorful designer duds while the A-Listers wore black and Penelope, for one, couldn't be bothered to brush her hair. Seriously, what's with that mess?

When Did Jared Leto Become A-List Again?

We love hot Jared Leto but the most recent version of the rocker has not been our favorite. We personally prefer him as an actor but we know there are many of you who love him in his new role so we know you are not only wishing him a happy birthday but you may even be headed to Miami. Jared Leto plays host at the Raleigh. Scott Sartiano, Richie Akiva and Amy Sacco take over the Delano, and expect Colin Farrell, Jay-Z and Nick Lachey. Q-Tip hosts at the Shore Club for the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Tyson Beckford. Wilmer Valderrama will ring in the New Year at Mansion with live performances by DJ AM and Travis Barker. And Kristin Cavallari and James Franco party down the block at Prive.

Now Leo and James Franco are the ones I care about. Maybe I should have headed to Miami this winter.
