Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Will Arnett, and More Get Funny For the Comedy Awards

The second annual Comedy Central Comedy Awards took over NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom Saturday night with big names in the funny business stepping out for the show. Amy Poehler, in a bold Black Halo dress, posed with her husband Will Arnett on the red carpet before she picked up the statue for best TV comedy actress for her work on Parks and Recreation. Maya Rudolph and her Bridesmaids costar Kristen Wiig were both honored, with Kristen winning for best comedy screenplay and Maya and the rest of the cast landing the title of best comedy film. Other stars, including Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, Chevy Chase, and Tracy Morgan, took the stage to present. We always expect a laugh when Amy Poehler appears on a late-night talk show, but last night she was exceptionally funny. While appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman to promote the season premiere of Parks and Recreation, the working mama discussed life with her two boys - Archie, 3, and Abel, 1 - who she says are both rather large for their ages. She went on to describe her desire to carry them in a baby carrier when they were smaller, but explained that the process simply didn't work for her. Time Celebrates 100 Influential People With Hillary, Kristen, Amy, Chelsea, and More

Time magazine celebrated its 100 Most Influential People last night with a huge bash held inside Jazz at Lincoln Center. Honorees like Kristen Wiig, Chelsea Handler, Claire Danes, Hillary Clinton, Tilda Swinton, and Rihanna all turned out for the mingling and partying. Stephen Colbert, who also made the list, gave opening remarks. He gave shout-outs to Kristen and Spanx creator Sara Blakely. Stephen joked, "Kristen, congratulations on the Time 100. Lovely to see you. Her movie, Bridesmaids, huge success, and proved once and for all to the Hollywood boys club that women can have explosive diarrhea, too - you are a feminist icon. Brava, madam. But perhaps the most influential person on the list is here, Sara Blakely, the inventor of the Spanx . . . No one, no one has done more to control women's bodies, except maybe [Catholic] Cardinal Dolan."

It seems the jokes and good times continued for the honorees, who happily posed for photos together. A Stella McCartney-clad Kristen Wiig made the rounds talking to her funny friends like Seth Meyers, Amy Poehler, Louis CK, and Aubrey Plaza. Rihanna hit the red carpet in a pink Marchesa gown before changing to perform on stage, while Claire Danes donned Lanvin to hang out backstage. Secretary of State Clinton may have been the most popular, though, as she shook hands and said hello to NY Knicks player Jeremy Lin, Amy, Chelsea, Harvey Weinstein, Barbara Walters, Matt Lauer, Tyra Banks, and more!

Jason Segel Gets Close With Michelle Williams at His Big Tribeca Debut!

Emily Blunt and Jason Segel teamed up for the NYC premiere of The Five-Year Engagement at the city's Ziegfeld Theatre last night. The screening served as the official opening of the Tribeca Film Festival - check out all the stars from past Tribeca Film Festivals as we celebrate the start of the annual cinema event! Emily paired a Jason Wu dress with a bright pair of Alice + Olivia pumps. Emily and Jason were joined by their costars Alison Brie and Dakota Johnson.

Other stars turned out for the opening, including Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Leelee Sobieski, a Jason Wu-clad Camilla Belle, Kim Cattrall, and Olivia Wilde in Yigal Azrouël. Festival founder Robert De Niro was on hand with his wife, Grace Hightower. Funny ladies from Parks and Recreation, Aubrey Plaza and Amy Poehler, dressed up to take in Jason's latest hilarious movie, and also to support their small-screen costar Chris Pratt, who's in Five-Year, but couldn't make its debut.

The screening was in honor of Emily and Jason's big-screen romance, but he also had his real-life love there, too. Jason Segel and girlfriend Michelle Williams reportedly got cozy once inside the Ziegfeld and later at the Museum of Modern Art afterparty. Jason even talked about the possibility of marriage on the red carpet, telling reporters, "I hit my 30s and enough became enough. I'm ready to enter phase three. I put the puppets into a closet. I'm getting nice furniture."

The Parks and Recreation Cast Reveals the Finale's Alternate Endings and Talk Twilight

Last night, a handful of the Parks and Recreation cast and crew joined forces for their PaleyFest panel in Beverly Hills. Amy Poehler (Leslie), Chris Pratt (Andy), Retta (Donna), and Jim O'Heir (Jerry) were on hand to talk about the upcoming finale and some of the new guest stars ahead, including Brad Leland (Buddy Garrity from Friday Night Lights) as one of Leslie's election opponents, Fester Trimm. They reflected on Poehler's turn in the director's chair this season and why they chose to film two totally different versions of the finale - one in which Leslie wins the election and one in which she loses. The cast also carried out cardboard cutouts of their costars not in attendance, prompting their executive producer Michael Schur to crack: "By the way, this is exactly what it’s like to talk to Aubrey Plaza." Poehler on Ben and Leslie's relationship: "I think Ben is the love of Leslie’s life, for sure. It was really great this season to get to play really big comedic moments with Adam [Scott], and really small lovely moments as well."
Pratt on his wife Anna Faris appearing on the show: "If they give us another season, I think it’s gonna happen. If we get one more season, my doggone wife is gonna come and play and be hilarious."
Schur on Tom and Anne's relationship: "We thought about this as early as season two, that they would make a terrible mistake and like, sleep together or something, and it was always in the back of our heads. . . and then, in the middle of the year, we were looking at our landscape and we have a lot of soulmate-y relationships. Leslie and Ben, Andy and April. There's a lot of true love. The point is that we were kind of like, we should just do a comedy relationship. We didn’t do it until we made sure that there was a reason - it’s very clear why Tom would be interested in Anne. I would say it’s somewhat less clear why Anne would be interested in Tom."

Schur on whether Leslie will win the election: "You’ll find out in the finale. We shot two endings, partly to hedge our bets in case we changed our minds, and partly to throw snoopy snoopers off our scent."
Poehler on performing Leslie's acceptance and concession speeches: "It was really touching and moving to do both the acceptance and concession speeches. You know, you actually find that acceptance and concession speeches about the same until the end. They thank everybody for their hard work, they realize they can't do it alone, they talk about their future, and they say congratulations to the other guy. Being on stage and talking to the cast, who are all my friends, and having to tell them thank you for this election year, and I could never do it without you, and we would never be here without the hard work from everybody - real waterworks over here from Poehler."
Poehler on the show's sentimental take on small towns: "I think there’s something very romantic about people deciding to be in love with your own small town. There’s a lot of arc in art and literature about moving to the big city, and there’s something really sweet about moving to a small town."
Retta on her personal attachment to the Twilight episode: "The third [book in the series is] good sex! It was bananas. I was beside myself!"
Poehler on directing: "It was really a huge opportunity for me. I’m really grateful for it and it was like a dream come true, like every moment on this show is for me, to be able to work with these actors in a different way. We had a really big show, it was a lot of cameras and extras, and when Louis C.K. was on the show I kind of asked him his advice on how do you direct yourself. And I don’t remember what he said. So. . . ."
Poehler on whether she'll be a part of Arrested Development's return: "I’ll get coffee for them, I’ll do whatever they want me to do. I know Will [Arnett], my husband, is really excited about it."

SNL's Really!?! With Seth and Amy Takes on Birth Control Debate

Just when we thought she couldn't get any cooler, one of our favorite funny ladies Amy Poehler stopped by Saturday Night Live last night and gave a great rant with Seth Meyers on the birth control debate via Really!?! With Seth and Amy. The pair rightly called out congressman Darrell Issa for his all-male panel on Obama's birth control mandate, Foster Freeze for his antiquated birth control idea (keep your legs closed), and Mike Huckabee's anti-birth-control line: "We're all Catholic now." To that last argument, Amy pointed out that the majority of Catholic women use contraception, saying, "You know who's not all Catholic now? All Catholics now." Miranda and Orlando, Rachel, Sofia, and More Party Post-Globes With InStyle

InStyle hosted another of its famous post-Golden Globes bashes at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last night! As always, the magazine gathered some of the biggest stars from TV and film. Will Arnett and Amy Poehler joked around on the party's red carpet, while Sofia Vergara prepped to celebrate Modern Family's best comedy series win. Rachel Zoe wore a dress from her own collection to mingle with friends, and Orlando Bloom threw an arm around his Dolce and Gabbana-clad wife Miranda Kerr on the way inside.

Miranda and Orlando didn't have projects in the running last night, but they had plenty to toast anyway - Orlando had a birthday Friday, and Miranda was just named a new celebrity ambassador for Qantas Airways. They had plenty of famous pals to share Moët with last night, including Kate Beckinsale, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Zooey Deschanel.
