Jay-Z walked arm in arm with his work and play partner Beyonce Knowles as they left Cipriani's and headed to Diddy's L'Uomo Vogue cover party at 1OAK in NYC last night. Name-changing Diddy may have given Beyonce some inspiration for her upcoming double album, half of which she recorded under her pseudonym, Sasha Fierce. She said, "I have someone else that takes over when it's time for me to work and when I'm on stage, this alter ego that I've created that kind of protects me and who I really am."
Sex and the City Premiere Glitters in Gold in NYC
Things may have kicked off in the UK, but the SATC girls finally came home to premiere the film at Radio City Music Hall last night. Love 'em or not, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, and Kim Cattrall glittered in their metallic dresses on a pink carpet that was covered with more than 10,000 Swarovski crystals. SJP looked amazing in a very familiar dress (hello, LL in Bazaar superhero photo shoot).

Last night Bruce (plus his PYT) and Tallulah were by her side for a screening of the film between stops at Letterman and GMA this morning. Donna Karan, Sean John and Ralph Lauren all showed off their new collections on Friday in front of star-studded front rows, but it was the Marc Jacobs show last night that had everyone buzzing. After starting over two hours late last NY Fashion Week, MJ got things going relatively on time and surprised the audience with a live Sonic Youth concert while the models strutted the runway.
Fashion Week Is in the Home Stretch
New York Fashion Week wraps up tomorrow, but there are still a boat load of celebrities there determined to see last call and stay until the lights go up and the tents come down. There are some new faces just coming in for the end, like Elijah Wood who caught the Liz McClean Photo Presentation and Liv Tyler at the Calvin Klein show. Eva Longoria is also relatively new to the festivities, and looked a bit like she was on her way to a wedding checking out the Naeem Khan collection.
