Vogue's editrix in chief Anna Wintour arrived first to fashion's most glamorous evening at the Met Gala - and in a Prada update of Elsa Schiaparelli's famous lobster-embellished dress, no less. To complement her stunning white floor-length gown, she donned a white fur stole and a bejeweled yellow amber-hued statement necklace. This is the first time in six years that Anna hasn't worn Chanel to the Met Gala, but what a gorgeous way to pay homage to the night's gala designers. What do you think of her gilded lobster number?

Gwen Stefani Takes in a Tennis Tournament With Kingston, Gavin, and More Stars

The 2012 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, CA, brought out plenty of stars over the weekend. Gwen Stefani and her oldest son, Kingston, sat in the stands next to Roger Federer's wife, Mirka, on Friday, when Roger took on Juan Martin del Potro. Gavin Rossdale watched the same match from another section, as did Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor. Ben and Christine stuck around to see Rafael Nadal beat David Nalbandian in another game, while Will Ferrell and his wife Viveca Paulin checked out the matchup between Ana Ivanovic and Maria Sharapova.

On Saturday, Ben, Christine, Will, and Viveca were back in the audience to see John Isner take home the win against Novak Djokovic. Ben and Christine also checked out Roger and Rafael's tennis game, which ended with Roger in the lead. Ben tweeted, "Tough day for my favorite Rafael Nadal. Amazing to watch him and the great Federer." Anna Wintour also showed up at the tournament yesterday. The tennis continues today, with the final men's singles game between Roger Federer and John Isner taking place this afternoon.

George Clooney, John Legend, and More Stars Go Black Tie For the White House State Dinner

Last night's White House State Dinner, hosted by President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama in honor of visiting British Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha, was a star-studded affair. George Clooney brought out a tuxedo for the occasion, after testifying about his experiences in Sudan and South Sudan to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee earlier in the day. Homeland star Damian Lewis arrived with his wife Helen McCrory while Sir Richard Branson also posed for photographs on his way into the event. John Legend was on hand as a performer, but also enjoyed the dinner with fiancé Chrissy Teigen, who tweeted pictures throughout the evening, including one shot of John's shirt after he spilled on himself. The other musical entertainment came from Mumford & Sons since David and Samantha are apparently fans of the British band. Stella McCartney Kicks Off London Fashion Week With Kate, Rihanna, and Alexa

London Fashion Week kicked off yesterday with a magical presentation from Stella McCartney. Many of Stella's friends came out to see her Winter 2012 London Evening Collection, which began with a vegetarian dinner for the likes of Kate Moss, Jamie Hince, and photographer Mario Testino. Models were seated at the tables with guests, and following the meal, excused themselves to perform a choreographed dance routine in Stella's designs. The fun didn't stop there for one guest. Alexa Chung was called to the stage by a magician who hypnotized her and then levitated her body above swords! Stella herself got in on the games by performing a card trick.

Rihanna wore a sexy dress for the party as well. After posing for photos on the red carpet in a sexy jewel-toned gown, she met up inside with Kayne West. Rihanna turns 24 on Monday, and started her celebrating last week at a private post-Grammy party in LA. Another young star, Shailene Woodley, mingled with Vogue editor Anna Wintour, fashion icon Twiggy, and actress Minnie Driver. Shailene doesn't have an Oscar dress yet, but said at the bash, "I have no idea what to wear, so yes, I’m always looking for red carpet dresses."

Victoria Beckham's was one of many fashionable faces, including Hamish Bowles and Anna Wintour, seen at the launch of the UK's new "Great Britain" campaign at NYC's Grand Central Shuttle Station today. Victoria wore a monochromatic look from her Victoria Beckham Collection, which she showed at Fashion Week on Sunday. She was back in designer mode this afternoon when she presented her lower priced line, Victoria by Victoria Beckham. David wasn't spotted in the front row this time, though he did support her by snapping pictures during her show over the weekend. Victoria and David celebrated with lunch at Balthazar, where Harper joined them. They kept the fun coming last night, when David captured a silly shot of Victoria with his huge H&M underwear billboard and posted the caption, "So proud of my wife taking #NYFW by the balls."

Kate Winslet Gets in on Fashion Week Fun With the CFDA

Kate Winslet joined the many famous faces at NY Fashion Week as she stepped out in the Big Apple last night. She attended the opening of CFDA's new exhibition at FIT called "Impact: 50 Years of the CFDA." Kate, who is the current face of St. John, wore a fitted black dress from the line and was accompanied by St. John designer George Sharp and CFDA CEO Steven Kolb for the occasion. Also on hand to see the work on display were Prabal Gurung, Vera Wang, Lorraine Schwartz, and Anna Wintour.

Kate's coming off an exciting award season win last month. Kate picked up a Golden Globe for her work in Mildred Pierce and was joined by boyfriend Ned Rocknroll at the big show.

Scarlett Johansson Brings Her Brother to Back Obama With Anna Wintour

Scarlett Johansson cohosted an Obama fundraiser in NYC last night with Vogue editor Anna Wintour. The "Runway to Win" event was held at a Theory store, and instead of new boyfriend Nate Naylor, Scarlett brought along her brother Hunter. Anna and Scarlett gathered a large group of fashionable New Yorkers, like models Karolina Kurkova, Chanel Iman, Karlie Kloss, and Joan Smalls. Designer Rachel Roy was also in attendance, as was Solange Knowles.

Both Anna and Scarlett are longtime Democratic activists and donors. Anna, in particular, has been identified as one of Obama's top "bundlers" for her ability to get the president's reelection campaign a great deal of funding. Yesterday's gathering was unique, however. Twenty-three top fashion designers, including Tory Burch, Diane von Furstenberg, Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez, and even Beyoncé Knowles, customized gear that supporters could purchase, with proceedings benefiting Obama 2012. Beyoncé herself swung by after seeing Jay-Z's second Carnegie Hall show. Scarlett spoke of the importance of "Runway to Win", commenting, "I think the most important thing is that the fashion world has an international spotlight shown on it. To be able to use that spotlight on a cause like this is incredible."

Diane Kruger and Salma Hayek Help Launch Versace Eyewear

Donatella Versace hosted at an exclusive dinner at Paris's Restaurant Lasserre on Monday to unveil the Versace Étoile De La Mer eyewear collection. Diane Kruger was one of the lucky stars to score an invite, and wore a wild cheetah and floral minidress designed by her host, Donatella. Inside, fashionable ladies like Salma Hayek, Anna Wintour, and Abbie Cornish tried on pieces from the line, which will be available in stores as of March. Oscar nominee Bérénice Bejo, from The Artist, also joined the celebration.

Diane's been front and center for many of the Couture Fashion Week events in recent days, starting with Donatella's Versace couture show Monday.She then moved on to Giambattista Valli's presentation and Chanel's Haute Couture extravagana. Salma and Diane are traveling in similar fashion circles this month, and were both on hand last night's opening of Prada’s 24 h Museum. The actresses partied late into the night and were entertained with a special DJ session from none other than Kate Moss.
