Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman Wrap Up a Wild West Coast Trip

Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman packed up their gear and caught a flight out of LAX yesterday afternoon. The couple had been on the West Coast for a few weeks while Anne took care of some movie business and caught up with friends. Anne presented Rachel Zoe with an award on Monday at the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center benefit.

The socializing came during a busy period for Anne. In addition to planning her wedding with Adam, she's also prepping for a new role. Anne will star in Les Miserables as Fantine alongside Hugh Jackman and Amanda Seyfried. The movie is to be directed by Academy Award-winning director Tom Hooper, who was the man behind The King's Speech. Tom's in the news today due to the end of his relationship with Tara Subkoff, a NYC-based fashion designer.

Rachel Zoe Accepts a Visionary Award From Anne Hathaway

Rachel Zoe and her husband Rodger Berman were among the celebrities who turned out for last night's Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center benefit at Sunset Tower. Mandy Moore, in Lela Rose, also posed on the black carpet, and inside, Rachel made the rounds with her good friend, and client, Anne Hathaway, as well as former San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom. Anne presented the first annual Visionary Award to Rachel, and the two laughed and shared a hug onstage. Both ladies wore vintage gowns from Decades. Anne was decked out in Christian Dior haute couture, and Rachel donned Versace.

The presentation was followed by a silent auction held to raise funds for the organization's homeless youth services. Rachel tweeted afterward that it had been "The most amazing night surrounded by the most amazing friends." There was another reason for Rachel to celebrate - she just crossed the one million Twitter followers mark!

Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman stuck together on their way out of Greenblatt's Deli in Beverly Hills last night. The couple grabbed a bite to eat after recently arriving in LA from the East Coast. They attended Meryl Streep's Iron Lady premiere in the Big Apple, and also stepped out for the Kennedy Center Honors in DC. Anne and Adam's red carpet activities were just the latest public outings for the couple, who announced that they were engaged last month. Anne's diamond ring has been on display ever since, though she's without the sparkly accessory in the new trailer for The Dark Night Rises. Anne's in character as Catwoman alongside leading man Christian Bale in the dramatic teaser, which is the first before the film's release next Summer. The Full Trailer For The Dark Knight Rises Will Give You Chills

The teaser for The Dark Knight Rises was a fun little preview of the final film in Christopher Nolan's Batman franchise, but the full trailer is the one that will send shivers down your spine. Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) is featured a little, but this preview mostly focuses on the villains: Tom Hardy as Bane and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. I'm already loving Hathaway as an evil-doer, who hints that her motives lie in her desire to bring down the city's wealthy elite (Occupy Gotham, anyone?).

There's so much happening that the trailer barely has time to fit it all in, which means we only see brief glimpses of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard. That said, the special effects already look dazzling (including an eye-popping scene of a football field caving in), and that creepy chanting we've been hearing for months still makes my skin crawl. Meryl Streep wore Stella McCartney to welcome friends and family to the NYC premiere of her Iron Lady last night. Her Devil Wears Prada pal Anne Hathaway brought fiancé Adam Shulman to the screening, with Hathaway showing off her brand-new diamond. Anne Hathaway's engagement ring apparently is worth a whopping $150,000, according to Kwiat, the company who made it. The brand's founder recently commented that Adam was aiming for a "beautiful, timeless, and special" look when designing the piece. Olivia Wilde also stepped out in a long-sleeved Dolce & Gabbana number. Adam, Anne, Meryl, and company kept the party going with an after-hours bash at the Royalton Hotel.
