Charlize Might Be Ready to Lighten Things Up
Charlize Theron's toes peeked out of her boots at The Burning Plain premiere in Madrid earlier today. She has been making the rounds promoting her movie and recently revealed she'd be interested in taking on lighter roles. The actress joked, "If there’s a woman in [a] doom and gloom scenario, my name comes up."
Bateman and Arnett Are Back, Animated and Still Developing
Jason Bateman and Will Arnett are back together on a new show, only we won't be seeing much of them at all. The animated show, Sit Down, Shut Up, based on an Australian program premieres this spring and reunites a whole lot of Arrested Development cast, writers and producers. Of course, talks at their TCA lunch immediately went to the AD movie — which is apparently Valkyrie meets Hotel for Dogs, hilarious.
Portia Steps Up as a Shoe Designer
Portia de Rossi stopped by the TCAs in LA this morning to talk about her upcoming new show Better Off Fred. While she of course fielded questions about the Arrested Development movie (more tidbits here), Portia also took a moment to talk about a new personal project. The glamorous actress is designing a line of vegan shoes!
