Ashlee Simpson and Minka Kelly walked between boutiques on Oxford Street in Sydney today. They picked up some goodies along the way, eventually wrapping up their afternoon with a few shopping bags in hand. Ashlee and Minka are Down Under for the opening of the new Marquee nightclub tonight. They're just a few of the celebrities who made the trek to Australia for the big event, including Ashlee's former brother-in-law Nick Lachey and his wife, Vanessa. Minka's rumored new flame, Wilmer Valderrama, is also in the country, as are Kellan Lutz and Paris Hilton. Paris's boyfriend, DJ Afrojack, is performing at the party after spending last weekend in Miami for the Winter Music Conference. The fun will continue tomorrow when Jermaine Dupri and Will.i.am take the stage at the new club, which is located inside the recently renovated Star Sydney resort.

Jessica Simpson and her sister Ashlee Simpson were bridesmaids at a pal's wedding over the weekend. The Simpson clan headed to Palm Springs to see their pal Lauren Zelman tie the knot with Bret Harrison. Jessica Simpson went to the engagement party on Friday evening along with Cacee Cobb, her fiancé Donald Faison, mutual friend Adam Brody, and Ashlee's boyfriend Vincent Piazza.

The ceremony took place on Saturday at the town's Parker hotel. Both Jessica and Ashlee were bridesmaids, and Eric Johnson had the honor of walking his own bride-to-be down the aisle. Ashlee's son Bronx Wentz served as the ring bearer. There isn't long to go before Jessica and Eric give Bronx a female cousin. Jessica has said that after the birth of her daughter, she and Eric will then shift focus to their own big day. The weekend was evidently a great one, as Jessica tweeted last night, "Sometimes I feel like I'm so full of love I could explode!"

Friends and family threw Jessica a baby shower last Sunday. Following the pink themed bash Eric was spotted loading up the car with tons of gifts, including more than 20 pairs of tiny shoes.

Jessica's fiancé Eric Johnson was also seen leaving the party with presents loaded into the trunk. The bash was organized by Mindy Weiss and included fresh flowers, hay stack decorations, gifts wrapped in pink, and sweet lollipop favors with a fun note. Jessica wore a blue snakeskin dress for the fete, which took place after a busy few days. Jessica kicked off the weekend with a date night at Mr. Chow's with Eric on Friday and continued with a St. Patrick's Day lunch in Venice, CA, Saturday.

Jessica Simpson and her fiancé Eric Johnson were together to celebrate her mom Tina's birthday, along with Ashlee Simpson and her boyfriend Vincent Piazza. In honor of Tina's big day, Jessica wrote her a special tweet. Jessica posted, "Happy Birthday Tina Simpson! I am the woman I am today because I have had you to look up to my entire life. I love you!"

It's a special time for the Simpsons as they all await the birth of Jessica and Eric's first child. The pregnancy hasn't slowed Jess down on the work front, as she's been all over talking up her new NBC reality series Fashion Star. The designing sisters spent much of last week promoting the line in NYC, though their East Coast trip wasn't just about business. Jessica and Eric checked out Lady Gaga's Workshop at Barneys and were also spotted out on a dinner date. Jessica's busy travel schedule means she missed out on celebrating pal Cacee Cobb's birthday, but she sent a sweet message to her best friend on Twitter.
