Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise Stick Together to Show Off The Kennedys

Katie Holmes had her husband Tom Cruise by her side last night to premiere her miniseries The Kennedys, which will air this weekend on the Reelz channel after HBO declined to screen the controversial project. She plays Jackie O opposite Greg Kinnear's JFK, and many of you were interested in seeing the final product. Tom spent the evening supporting Katie's work after she passed much of the last few months up in Canada as he shot Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol. He's hanging out in California for the time being, though, and on Sunday attended a Lakers game with his son Connor.

The ladies went short for the People's Choice Awards in LA tonight. Presenter Malin Akerman chose a white J. Mendel dress and Taylor Swift went with a pretty peach frock by the same designer to accept her award for favorite country artist. Minka Kelly belted her Vivienne Westwood mini while AnnaLynne McCord stood out in a bright blue sheath. Emma Roberts donned a classic LBD, which was the perfect complement to Zac Efron's suit as they posed for pictures together. Plenty of other gorgeous gals came out for the big show, like the Kardashian sisters and a gown-wearing Ashley Tisdale. Fresh off a long day of panels, the stars of ABC and Disney kept the TCA party going last night at the Beverly Hilton. Matthew Perry cracked us up at the Q & A session, after which he mingled with Busy Philipps and his new costar Andrea Anders. Cougar Town's Josh Hopkins revealed that Jennifer Aniston will definitely be guest starring in an episode early on in season two! My Generation's Mehcad Brooks spoke at length about how much this role means to him and while he's lagged on watching, he still has lots of love for True Blood and wishes the cast the best. Joanna Garcia looked hot in her Michael Kors dress and her beautiful engagement ring completed the look - stay tuned for our exclusive interview with her! Autumn Reeser and Julie Benz were both sporting nude Brian Atwood pumps, which was Autumn's first expensive shoe purchase at her No Ordinary Family costar Julie's suggestion. Mark Wahlberg Toasts Entourage's Seventh Successful Season

The boys of Entourage got together last night to premiere their seventh season in LA. Adrian Grenier posed with the rest of the crew Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, and Jerry Ferrara, while Jeremy Piven faithfully tweeted from red carpet. The series's producer, Mark Wahlberg, left the kids at home to enjoy a night out with his wife Rhea Durham and support his beloved Boston Celtics who are taking on the LA Lakers in game seven of the NBA finals tonight. There's lots to come on the show this year judging from the emotion-wrought trailer, including the anticipated romance between Kevin and Emmanuelle Chriqui's characters. Emmanuelle stuck with the girls, including Perrey Reeves and Carla Gugino. Adrian and Kevin spent a few hours earlier in the day working on their new episodes, which we'll get to see starting June 27.

First Look: Valentine

The CW's new Sunday night programming block starts in early October, and of the four new shows, I'm most curious to check out Valentine, which is about a family of Greek gods who now live among us in a world where Mount Olympus is just off the freeway from LA's Laurel Canyon.

My reasons for being excited for the show are twofold: I've seen the whole "historical figures from such-and-such a time try to navigate modern society" concept work before (anyone else ever watch Clone High?), and I'm glad to see another alum of The OC - Autumn Reeser, in this case - get a job. There's also the whole thing of having Aphrodite, Eros, and Hercules shacking up together, which has the potential to be amusing, especially while they're living out their mission of helping everyday folks find love.

Of course, it also has the potential to be quite cheesy, and from the first promo, I can't tell for sure which way the show is leaning. There are some funny bits (Eros has foregone arrows in favor of a love gun), but there's also an over-the-top feeling about it all. It's enough to make me want to check out an episode, though. On Saturday at the CW Party in Los Angeles, former O.C. star Autumn Reeser arrived with a newly enhanced hair hue. I'm used to seeing her with shiny and long light brown hair - nothing like this darker, more mature enriched shade of red (although I have to admit, it's not half bad on her). Who Wore It Better? Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent Floral Dress

I featured this dress a while ago and am still a fan. The Asian-inspired floral pattern is not too in your face, and the brown belt perfectly neutralizes the silky dress. I'm not the only fan of this Cynthia Vincent frock. Maggie Grace wore it back in August at the Los Angeles premiere of Superbad, and Autumn Reeser recently wore it to the 14th Annual Lint Roller Party in LA. While the dress suits both actresses' youthfulness, I'm leaning towards Maggie's pointed-toe pumps and simple clutch - it's a bit sassier. Who gets your vote?
