Jennifer Hudson Adds to Her Trophy Case

Just when you think there couldn't possibly be any more awards shows, Hollywood is right there to prove you wrong. This weekend, The Soul Train Music Awards honored artists in R&B, hip-hop and gospel music. Jennifer Hudson, Babyface and John Legend were among the winners. Here are highlights:

"I want to thank Soul Train for appreciating my music and black music over the years," said Legend, who did not attend the show, via a television feed.

"I just can't believe I got the Sammy Davis Jr. award," said Hudson, who also performed during the show. "I'm standing on the same stage where I made the top 32 of 'American Idol.'"

"When you think of songwriting and where it comes from, you go to your space in your room and you write, and you try to write from the heart," Edmonds said.

Beyonce, Jamie Foxx, and Mary J. Blige were also honored but failed to grace us with their presence. I have to wonder where Jennifer Hudson and Mary J. Blige keep all of their awards. Seriously, these women seem to be racking up the awards these days.

Rihanna Poses With Pete and Gets Paranoid With Kanye

Rihanna was all smiles last night at the Island Def Jam party in NYC where she was being honored for selling 12 million records. She posed with Pete and happily chatted with other guests, who were also thrilled to check out the debut of "Paranoid," the new Kanye West video. "Paranoid" stars a scantily clad and angry Rihanna - watch it after the jump. Another thing keeping Rih smiling these days is a new man in her life. Earlier this week, the singer was spotted making out with a rapper named Drake at a bowling alley. Sounds like she is having fun these days and enjoying life in the moment.

Eddie Is Going To Need A Really Good Lawyer

Quite a random array of celebrities strolled the green carpet for the premiere of Who's Your Caddy in LA last night. Eddie played no part in the making of the film as far as we can tell, but that didn't stop him from posing happily with his girlfriend Tracey Edmonds. We're thinking that Eddie should be a little more scared than smiley - his ex girlfriend and mother of his child, Mel B, has just hired Gloria Allred to represent her in her case against him. Considering Gloria's cutthroat reputation paired with DNA evidence that Eddie is the baby's father, we're thinking this will be an easy win for Mel B.

Stars Rock Their Fashion at Radio City Music Hall

Justin, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Charlize are just a few of the A-list celebs that came out to Condé Nast's Fashion Rocks concert at Radio City Music Hall on Friday night. The annual event helps kicks off NY Fashion Week and this year it also helped support Stand Up To Cancer. Beyonce debuted her $5 million 18-karat engagement ring before taking the stage in dazzling gold to perform with JT. Rihanna rocked a feather headdress while showing off her long legs on stage and Mariah Carey brought Nick to watch her perform. We had the chance to interview many of the celebrities on the red carpet, including Chris Brown, which you can read after the jump. The show airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. on CBS but for now, check out Bella's and Fab's love it or hate it polls and tell us what you think of everyone's looks.

Matt Damon and a Mustache Don't Go Well Together

So much for the sexiest man alive. Matt Damon showed that he can look like a pudgy, midwest corporate exec at some huge company, and it ain't pretty. The usually cute in that baby-faced sort of way actor was not looking his finest on the set of The Informant in LA yesterday. Matt was his normal self in Miami last weekend, but it's amazing how Hollywood can transform a man into looking his best or, in Matt's case, his least flattering look. Seriously, can we have the old Matt back now please?

Clive Gets the Grammy Party Started . . . With Whitney

Clive Davis helped kick off the Grammys with his annual pre-show party on Saturday at the Beverly Hilton in LA. The appearance of the night was, of course, Whitney Houston who looked fabulous on the red carpet and with her wardrobe change inside. The icon was joined at the party by Lindsay Lohan in seafoam green and Rihanna in a very full-coverage number. Nicole and Joel were pulling double duty coming from the LACMA party to pose with the likes of Fergie and Pete/Ashlee. Miss Carrie Underwood was there with her boyfriend Chace Crawford, but he managed to avoid the cameras. Boo that. Inside, the party-goers were treated to performances from all-star acts like Alicia Keys, the Foo Fighters, Daughtry, and Leona Lewis. At one point Akon and Will.i.am took the stage for singing and backflips. I'm sure they were all home nice and early to get a good night's sleep before last night's Grammys. Suuuure.

Christina Goes Back to Her Toddler Days

Christina Ricci and her new caramel colored hairdo flashed a big smile at LAX on Thursday. She's made some drastic changes to her hair in the past, but this time around Christina decided to go back to her roots - literally. She said, "I actually really like it. I read a long time ago, in some beauty bible, that if you want to change your hair color, you should go back to the color you were as a toddler. So that's what I was." We're not so sure that this hair dye theory would work on everyone, but it certainly makes Christina look baby-faced again.

Oprah Opens A School

Oprah continues to spread goodwill around the world with her latest effort, a $40 million girls' school in South Africa. The school opened today with 152 students that were handpicked by Oprah herself. The school is called The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls and came about due to a promise that Oprah made to Nelson Mandela six years ago to give students a better future. Here's more:

"I wanted to give this opportunity to girls who had a light so bright that not even poverty could dim that light," Winfrey said at a news conference.

Winfrey has said that she decided to build her own school because she wanted to feel closer to the people she was trying to help.

The $40 million academy aims to give 152 girls from deprived backgrounds a quality education in a country where schools are struggling to overcome the legacy of apartheid.

By educating girls, Winfrey said she hoped she could help "change the face of a nation."

"Girls who are educated are less likely to get HIV/ AIDS, and in this country which has such a pandemic, we have to begin to change the pandemic," she said.

Looks like Oprah is kicking off the year doing what she does best - giving back. Of course part of this good deed comes from frustration in the states. Oprah said, "I became so frustrated with visiting inner-city schools that I just stopped going. The sense that you need to learn just isn't there," she says. "If you ask the kids what they want or need, they will say an iPod or some sneakers. In South Africa, they don't ask for money or toys. They ask for uniforms so they can go to school. Brad Plays with his Plane

Normally these days Brad is not very excited to get his picture taken, but something changed this weekend. Is it because like any boy and his fabulous toys, he is just excited about fixing up his plane??? I have not been loving his scruffy look but this clean shaven, baby-faced version of Brad looks fabulous to me. We want to see more of this guy.
