Jude Law took the stage for Hamlet's official opening on Broadway last night. His show got great reviews during his run on London's West End earlier this year, and now he's ready to conquer New York audiences. He worked up a sweat and had some celebrity support for his big night including Natalie Portman who rushed through the red carpet and Ed Westwick who had his usual faces all ready for the cameras.

Manhattan was buzzing last night with all the excitement of Fashion's Night Out. It was an amazing way to help kick off New York Fashion Week across the city. Celebrities were out in full force to support the event, holding court at different stores while fans and press mingled, shopped, and spotted the well-dressed stars.

The honorees on this year's Time Magazine 100 Most Influential People list came together last night to celebrate at the Lincoln Center in NYC. Some of the fantastic ladies who made the cut — like MIA, Michelle Obama, and Stella McCartney — all hit the red carpet and took the podium to celebrate. For the second night in a row, Stella brought good friends Kate Hudson and Liv Tyler to the event.

This year's list includes Will Smith, Michael Phelps, Tina Fey, Tom Cruise, Rush Limbaugh, Miley Cyrus, and Frank Langella, but of course the big question is who will get the coveted No.

The Emmys brought out some gorgeous gowns to the red carpet on Sunday, but a few stars got equally fancy for the Metropolitan Opera 125th Season Opening Night Gala in NYC last night. Helena Christensen and Christie Brinkley showed they haven't lost any of their model beauty, while Parker Posey went a little funkier with her big bow. Jenny Humphrey was being bullied at school on last night's episode of Gossip Girl, but in real life Taylor Momsen was looking very grown up and almost unrecognizable in her dramatic red ruffles.

- Amy Winehouse will not be charged for her drug-related arrest. According to her spokesman, Amy's bail date to return to the police station has been canceled and Amy is moving on to "concentrate on music."

On yesterday's Oprah, Barbara Walters sat down to talk about her new tell-all book. She had plenty to say about her affair with the US Senator and keeping Star Jones' gastric bypass surgery a secret from the public. Star responded by saying,
“It is a sad day when an icon like Barbara Walters, in the sunset of her life, is reduced to publicly branding herself as an adulterer, humiliating an innocent family with accounts of her illicit affair, and speaking negatively against me all for the sake of selling a book."
