I haven't seen DWP yet. But I have always liked her work. And I understand her wanting to step out of that Disney persona that everyone is use to deeing her perform.
I've read a lot of interviews with her (and clips from them) where she talks about how she isn't a good girl. I want to tell her, "But that's why people like you!!". I hope she doesn't try
and change herself too much to get people to see her as an "adult". I think being mellow and responsible is working just fine. I think if you just live your life, your image will follow.
I read a funny quote where she was like, "Being good is easy. Wear panties and stay out of jail." HA!!!
This constant reminding of how she doesn't want to be typecast as the typical goody-two shoes is slightly troubling. She doesn't want to be a good model for the hordes of girls who want
someone other than Paris or LL as a standard? Fine, Anne, but just realize the other alternative might drive away most of your fanbase.
being bad is overrated, youre always in trouble and it will catch up with you aka paris, lindsay. and britany. after a while the world will get sick of them. So glad someone cant help but be
mature and lovely, yay for Anne!
Well, I think it's quite obvious why she doesn't want to be typecast, it's not about the little girls looking up to her, it's about getting roles. If it weren't for her dog keeping her up all
night, she wouldn't have been grumpy and tired and wouldn't have gotten the job. So I understand her feelings.
I like Anne although her rants about not being a "good" girl get annoying after awhile. If she's quite about it people will forget about the good girl image and focus on her current films.
I really lose respect for actors who run around SAYING they are grown up and equate stripping with "growing up" instead of showing it. And really, who has type-casted her as "Mia"? For all of
her protestations, Havoc went straight to video, her part in Brokeback Mountain wasn't even paid attention and she did get a role in The Devil Wears Prada, so to me it seems like she's a
whiner. Being "grown up" isn't all about taking off your top and tossing a few cuss words into an interview. She's a pretty girl but she's acting like a waste of talent.
I will say that I really do like Anne Hathaway, but she's about 10 more "I'm not a goog girl" comments away from being in the Jessica Alba zone...BEWARE
i like her, but in every interview she tries to make herself sound like a wild party animal and it annoys me ! i don't mind people going out and having fun, drinking, whatever. but Lindsay's
made being a wild child look trashy and that's not a good thing to try to convince you are anything like her ! er, i could have re-worded that.

8Something in her face reminds me that of Penelope's.

11OK Anne we get it! Now you're starting to get annoying.

14I really like her outfit here!
15She's pretty, but I've always been unmoved by her. And I think she's too young to play 99 in the Get Smart movie
16Once again, what is wrong with being a good girl? I agree about her being too young for Get Smart, Dubn8tr.
17I like her.I just wish she would realize there is nothing wrong with being a good girl.
