Rihanna Leads the Way With Amazing Women For Glamour

Rihanna stole the show in her dramatic white dress as she and her fellow honorees took the red carpet at last night's Glamour Women of the Year celebration in NYC. Carnegie Hall was brimming with beautiful ladies from Iman to Maria Shriver and Diane von Furstenberg. Catherine Zeta-Jones stood out in blue and had Michael Douglas by her side for support. Rih was just one of a handful of women who were chosen by the magazine, but all eyes were on her - and most of you are loving the look, just the latest in her fashion metamorphosis!

Padma Lakshmi showed off her growing baby bump while one of the evening's honorees Stella McCartney smiled big with her award up on stage where she also had some trouble with her super short skirt. Amy Poehler and Michelle Obama were two of the magazine's other women of the year, though the First Lady didn't attend the event since she was with her husband President Barack Obama visiting with families at Fort Hood. The night was full of inspirational and important females who spoke and mingled, celebrating each other and Glamour's picks. President Clinton Thinks Brad Is Doing Something Right

Brad Pitt was still looking shaggy this afternoon when he met up with President Clinton at the Clinton Global Initiative in NYC. Brad was there to give a progress report on his work in New Orleans with Make It Right, and to accept a honor from the US Green Building Council for constructing the largest community of green homes in the world. Brad's environmentally friendly design work in Louisiana is earning praise from more than just former presidents - he's also been named as a fellow by the prestigious Design Futures Council.

Matt and Bill Make Quite a Pair at the Clinton Global Initiative

Matt Damon took a break from working on The Adjustment Bureau in NYC today to make an appearance at the Cinton Global Initative. He posed with the event's main man Bill after giving a short speech, in which Matt and water.org co-founder Gary White announced their new multi-year plan to bring clean water to people in Haiti. Matt also took the stage at the convention last year to address the same issue, though this time around he has twelve months of good deeds to back up his talk.

Matt Mixes and Mingles to Benefit ONEXONE

Matt Damon has been in A-List company during his time at the Toronto Film Festival, and last night he was joined by another famous face, Bill Clinton, for a dinner benefiting his ONEXONE foundation. Taking a break from promoting The Informant!, Matt opened up about the importance of his charity work of brining clean water to areas with limited access. He said, "I was in Ethopia couple of months ago and there was this hand-dug well with kids dipping their bottles into something that looked like chocolate milk. . . When I get back from one of these trips, I sit with my wife and finally, after hours and hours of silence, I'll start talking about what I've just seen and experienced." Lucky Matt has a table full of ladies to share his stories with, though yesterday it was only wife Luciana by his side for the star-studded philanthropic event.

Drew Barrymore Takes a Break From Gossip for Clinton

The fourth annual Clinton Global Initiative continued on yesterday with an appearance by Drew Barrymore who cozied up with the former president himself. Drew was there as part of her involvement with the United Nations World Food Programme and despite the other fun we saw her having in NYC this week - making out with Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick - it's clear she's got more on her mind than boys. Now, just wonder if after her big day of doing good and discussing the state of the world at the conference, she celebrated with a night on the town with her younger gentleman friend?

British Beauties Join Will and Orlando to Party for a Cause

Lots of lovely ladies were out last night to celebrate at the tenth annual White Tie and Tiara Ball in honor of the Elton John AIDs Foundation at Elton's estate in England. Will and Jada, Liz Hurley (who took the theme quite literally with her sparkly headpiece) and Orlando Bloom joined newly-engaged Uma Thurman for the evening, which raised an impressive $20 million. Mischa Barton was also on hand for the night, as she posed for photos with Kelly Osbourne and her man Luke Worrell. It was certainly a mixed crowd - check out more photos of them coming and going - but it looks like everybody had a blast partying for charity.

Nelson Mandela Throws a Party 90 Years in the Making

It was a 90th birthday party to remember for Nelson Mandela, who went big for his star-studded celebration in London's Hyde Park yesterday. Will Smith managed to tear himself away from his non-stop promotional tour of Hancock to catch up with his buddies Robert de Niro, Forest Whitaker and Denzel Washington, and of course to spend some time with Jada. There was no sign of Amy Winehouse, but Naomi Campbell was happy to provide the drama, showing up even though Nelson personally requested she be removed from the guest list after her recent legal issues.

Brad and Bill Make It Right in New Orleans

Brad Pitt took a break from filming in Texas to join Bill Clinton in New Orleans on Sunday. The two met up with hundreds of volunteers in the Lower 9th Ward to begin building homes for Katrina victims as part of Brad's Make It Right program. The volunteers were rewarded with autographs, pictures and one lucky lady even got to dance with sexy Brad. On getting started on the new homes, he said, "We hope to see a huge change here in the next six months."

Last night Jimmy Fallon and U2's The Edge were honored at the Can-Do Awards in New York. The event was hosted by Bill Clinton and raised funds for the Food Bank of New York. Julianne Moore, Ed Burns and Christy Turlington were among the celebs who came out to get their philanthropy on. Josh Hartnett cleaned up well by finally shaving that chin scruff, while Kate Bosworth looked super skinny in her beautiful Chloe dress. David Bowie and Michael Stipe were among the musicians who attended the event but weirdly enough, it looks like cute Jimmy was the only guy who picked up an instrument.
