Many familiar faces were in the stands yesterday at the Staples Center in LA to see the Lakers beat the Rockets and earn their way to the Western conference finals. Loyal fan Kate Hudson brought Ryder along, joining other celebs like Russell Brand, Nicky Hilton and David Arquette. Adam Levine took a break from romancing Cameron Diaz to sit courtside next to Denzel Washington, who was getting eyed up by Mindy Kaling.

Courtney Love is a constantly evolving being. It's good to know she sets goals for herself. She even decided to bring in the new year with a few resolutions (53 to be exact) that she posted for the world to see on her website moonwashedrose.com.

Omnipeace's "Stamp Out Violence" event at STK drew a star-studded crowd including BFFs Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Sheryl Crow, along with Twilight's Ashley Greene. The women spoke about the charity's fight to end violence against women in the Congo, and a pregnant Nicole Richie said, "I'm all about making people aware and showing them what the problem is. It's impossible to turn your back on something like this."

Live Earth went down on Saturday and boy did the stars come out for the big event. Concert venues ranged from London to South Africa, Tokyo to New York and everywhere in between (including Antarctica, at which a few of the resident scientists performed), raising awareness about global warming. Eco-friendly stars like Cameron & Leo (looking very hot, btw) made cameos as well as some new faces on the environmental scene.
