Inside the Very Star-Studded Madonna Malawi Gucci Bash

We saw all the million celebrities on the red carpet last night at Madonna's Gucci/Malawi/UNICEF benefit, but the real fun was on the inside. J Lo looked fabulous and glowing with her gorgeous hair and ready to pop babies bump having a laugh with Tom and Katie. Madonna let her mini (and growing!) me Lourdes wander the festivities alone while she played hostess to the star-studded bash. Wouldn't mind getting that up close and personal with Orlando, you? Birthday Boy (with Ashton) Chris Rock got an eyeful of Rihanna on the red carpet, but the stunning starlet was probably too nervous about her big party performance to even notice. She said, "I've never met [Madonna] before...I hope I don't cry." Rihanna's not the only person Madonna was intimidating (even just jokingly so) as Gwyneth said as she walked in you don't say no to Madonna "very often, she's pretty scary."

The Piano Man Lures Fancy Celebs to The Hamptons

All sorts of celebrities came out Saturday night in the Hamptons for a Billy Joel concert as part of the Social @ Ross series. MK took a break from her new Weeds life for the event, along with Billy's former wife Christie Brinkley and now wife Katie Lee. It always seems a little random to see Renee Zellweger out and about, though she's looking pretty happy, so, uh, yay? Kelly Ripa and Mark were adorable as always. Meanwhile, check out the gallery for this event -- Alec Baldwin has seen better days and Adam Sandler might have fallen asleep mid-show. Whoops. Being said, I'm sure the show was a blast. The Piano Man is quite the performer.

Jake, Tiny Dancer Reese, Ava and Deacon Watch Billy and Elton

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal almost blended in with the crowd at an Elton John and Billy Joel concert in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday. The adorable couple had Reese's kids with them as Deacon got a great view from up on Jake's shoulders and Ava stuck by mom's side. During the show Elton dedicated "Tiny Dancer" to petite Reese who had a big smile on her face taking in the live music with the huge crowd. Reese and Jake are making a habit of checking out shows this Summer and this time Ava and Deacon were lucky enough to tag along for the classic concert.

The Partying Didn't Stop After the Costume Institute Gala

After the stunning red carpet, many of the fashionable stars of the Costume Institute Gala headed over to an afterparty hosted by Marc Jacobs at the Monkey Bar in NYC last night. Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake changed out of their formal wear into something more playful to party the night away. Kate Hudson, Liv Tyler, Kate Bosworth, Agyness Deyn and Stella McCartney all crammed into the backseat of a car, staying together after walking the red carpet. It was hard to miss Madonna in her eye-catching outfit as she went home on the arm of Jesus Luz. Josh Hartnett joined in on the festivities looking dashing in his tux, and even Naomi Campbell came out to play despite boycotting the gala. The Costume Gala Delivers the Glitz and Glamour!

The Met's Costume Institute Gala did not disappoint last night in NYC, bringing us one of the most star-studded red carpets of the year. The theme was "Model as Muse," which apparently brought out some interesting fashion choices. Kate Moss and Marc Jacobs were two of the hosts and had all eyes on them when they arrived first and her outfit included a turban. Justin Timberlake was also the man of the evening with Jessica Biel on his arm.

Rihanna switched it up for her first red carpet appearance in months and still looked sexy in her dramatic menswear. Josh Jackson and Diane Kruger can do no wrong in our eyes so it was not a surprise that they're perfectly put together. Something must have gotten into the Gossip Girl ladies because they both went with bold choices - Blake slicked down her hair and showed off a long sexy slit while Leighton might have landed herself on a few worst dressed lists.

In case you missed it, Gisele Bundchen accessorized her hot dress with her new big diamond ring and hot husband. Plus I have to give a shout out to the Olsens who looked totally different but both great. Love Ashley's sexy open back dress. American Idol's iTunes Top Downloads Produced a Few Hits

This week the contestants chose from iTunes top downloads, and while the pop hits would suggest guaranteed fun, there seemed to be more letdowns than sing-alongs. After a rocky start with Anoop attempting his best Usher and Megan butchering Bob Marley, Danny Gokey finally wowed the judges with his rendition of "What Hurts the Most" by Rascal Flatts. Allison's outfit distracted the judges so much they barely talked about anything else.

Matt Giraud may be in trouble again this week. He is one of our favorites, and we liked The Fray song he performed surrounded by the audience, but the judges panned him. Lil Rounds dressed like Whitney, and although her voice hit some impressive high notes, her singing wasn't nearly as memorable as her cute kids - including one daughter's hug to Randy. Adam Lambert kept the slicked back hair and showtunes vibe, which the judges continued to eat up. Favorite performances from the night were Scott MacIntyre's beautiful and spot-on Billy Joel performance and Kris Allen's "Ain't No Sunshine." The closing performance by Allen was agreed on by the judges as his best so far, and it certainly left us wanting more of this cute contestant. As for the bottom three, Annop, Megan, and Allison look like they are in trouble this week. Icons and Idols Party the Night Away at the Chateau

The night didn't end with Kanye's post-VMAs performance as the stars headed out to the after parties. The girls of The Hills posed together at the Paramount Studios bash before Audrina headed to InTouch Weekly's Icons and Idols party at Chateau Marmont. The Veronicas, Leona Lewis and Good Charlotte all hit the stage performing fun sets for the packed room. We were lucky enough to be there and have some great sightings like the girls of 90210, Dave Annable from Brothers and Sisters and even Ryan Phillippe who stayed covert in his favorite hat. Downstairs, Samantha Ronson spun while Lindsay Lohan topped off her very busy weekend - Fashion Week to Toronto to the VMAs - sitting on the booth right next to her girl chatting with friends and looking hot wearing a very revealing halter top.

The Veronica's kicked things off great but it was Leona Lewis who got the crowd excited. In fact, her performance was so hot that Kid Rock had to take off his shirt - we know he loves a woman that actually sings, ha. When Good Charlotte performed their hits, Mischa Barton was front and center in a very flower-child headband and Paris Hilton excitedly cheered Benji on from right next to the stage. Sadly, no Nicole Richie there to hear Joel make lots of jokes to the crowd since she and Harlow were in NYC.
